As soon as I walked in the front door I loved it. I always prefer older homes, they just have this feeling of coziness. Our room was perfect, the staff was very friendly. We both liked that breakfast was delivered to our door which we could enjoy in our room. We have told friends how much we enjoyed our stay. We hope to be back again.

Good location. Nice view of harbour
Up in the roof and consequently very warm which meant the 2 portable AC units had to be run constantly - they were very very noisy so I did not sleep very well.
On the day we checked in with a nice young lady who was very helpful and advised coming down for dinner later etc when we did come down just past 8 o’clock we were aggressively told by another team member that the kitchen had closed at 8. It would have been useful to know this at checkin. It was a Sunday night so I understand an earlier kitchen close but it did leave us in something of a predicament.

Excellent quality towels. Good bed and bedding. Quaint breakfast. Excellent location.
Too many stairs if you have heavy cases. Bathroom was poor, the shower cubicle was too small and had plastic doors which were difficult to close. Toilet seemed not on mains drainage and was very loud when flushing. Room was small.
