Great location, the breakfast was exceptional, the hostess, Michele, was just made for that role. We very much enjoyed the sit down breakfast with as assigned seat and the setting to be able to chat with people from around the world. Michele was great to talk with.

We were welcomed warmly and walked through everything from the door lock to breakfast. Our room was the smallest (my choice, as only 1 night) but it was comfortable, clean and in keeping with the age of the property. The property as whole is beautiful and so respectful of it's history, which I loved! A communal area for coffee and snack is provided. The location is great and we easily navigated to the river front, restaurants and bars on foot (some recommended by host Michelle herself) and even our late night arrival back after a couple of beers wasn't an issue. Breakfast was a new but great experience - Guests choose an 8:30 or 9:30 seating with a pre-selected choice of juices, coffees and whole food conscious meal, catered for your specific dietary needs. The 8:30 seating all sat together round a perfectly laid crystal and porcelain table where we chatted and listened to what brought each of us to Gananoque from as far as Taiwan, Belgium and the UK! Not eating with others is also an option, and Michelle is conscious of this but I would recommend the experience! Michelle has created a wonderful communal space... and make sure you meet Peaches the dog. Cuteness overload.

The location is fantastic, Michelle, our host, was delightful & a fabulous cook. Our breakfast was delicious. Our room was lovely & very comfortable & the house, the gardens, & the decor is perfect for the location. Highly recommend this propery & would definitely stay there again.
