Free parking, clean room, good location.

Vending machine instead of a bar and not being told of the options for breakfast…..other customers were given different breakfast options which we weren’t told about.

The fact we could park 3 motor scooters securely behind locked gates .

More choice at breakfast but this would not put me off staying again.

I think if the weather had been better we would have enjoyed it more and used the pool. We had a large terrace but because it was cold it went largely unused.

The furniture and decoration was very dark and made the room gloomy. I get that the desire was to give it a traditional vibe but it was overdone. The bar was stocked by a vending machine with limited choice and the hotel just felt like it was vacant with no staff except for the lady who cleaned and served breakfast. The breakfast fare was really limited. The same every day and you had two pieces of cheese each and two pieces of salami on a plate which looked miserable. You then had a basket containing one half piece of toast each and a croissant each. No complaints about the small jug of fresh orange juice. However no offer of water. There was some pots of jam and always had to ask for a change as there was always the same jam and no variety and a small carton of honey. We discovered you could have tomato pulp but only after another guest asked for it so it was never just offered. There was no yogurt (a guest asked and got a swift ‘no’). No fruit, no alternative pastry. The room was uninviting and the experience was dismal. The restaurant closed during weekdays (we were there during three weekdays) however the owner or manager told us about his other restaurant in town which was good so we ended up up going there but meant a walk to town and back one night in the rain. All in all close but no cigar.

The service was great.

The location, in the middle of a residential area, noisy traffic. The terrace had a poor view over suburbia. The 5 minute walk into town didn’t compensate for the noisy streets. The rooms weren’t well insulated so very aware of other guests, TV’s playing, showers etc. The overall experience didn’t live up to our expectations when booking the place. Sorry but it wasn’t for us.
