Beautiful property right next to a trail
Had a weird smell in the room. The rooms were clean but there was a weird smell

Staff, location and amenities were quite good.
Since Booking.com did not pay the hotel with the monies they collected from me, I paid at the hotel a second time for the stay. It has been 6 weeks now and despite sending 2 requests with full documentation, I have no meaningful response from Booking.com.
Moral of the story: do not give Booking.com any money in advance for anything.

The beds were comfortable, the water was hot enough
The pet fee was high ($75), the room was a little beat up, the area in the back of the hotel neglected, especially compared to the rooms facing the pool.
