I had a wonderful stay at the Gateway Motel in Gananoque.
Mr. Dhillon was so kind, welcoming and helpful. His service was truly excellent from check-in to check-out, he really makes you feel at home.
The room was beautiful, clean, comfortable and very quiet. The breakfast was lovely too.
It's a very peaceful place, quiet and safe. I would highly recommend it for solo women travellers, especially senior women.
I will definitely come back!

Excellent room, one king bed and one queen bed. The view from the back side window was great.

Location, clean and quiet, and comfortable, but at these prices don't expect the frills. Great if you want to use it to sleep and enjoy the town, the river and the bicycle paths. Half the price of anything else in town, and away from the motel strip.
A bathtub plug would have been handy. Remember it is also an old motel, and while I found it ideal, you fussy ones might not.
