Very good
The food was always good. The swimming pool was clean. The rooms were clean. The ambience was calm. The staff were generally welcoming, including the security.
The masseuse was unpleasant. She had bad customer service skills. The cinema was disappointing, the video wouldn't load or had breaks in them. There was no popcorn contrary to what was promised. The air-conditioning was faulty in many deluxe rooms such that myself and my spouse had to be stepped down to standard rooms instead. Unfortunate

Luxury and Comfort
Luxury and comfort! This property is the arguably the most beautiful resort in Ghana. I can imagine dignitaries being hosted here. The restaurant offers delicious cuisine. The buildings are built using sustainable materials. Amazing!
Sometimes unstable wifi connection. No brewed coffee for breakfast. There were only Nescafe packets.

It looks like paradise but can be opposite!
As I stated in my previous evaluation, the staff are extremely friendly and the conceirge are very knowledgeable about the traditions and culture in this area, Nzema. I like the traditional building materials. There were good efforts in the decor using traditional building materials.
As I explained the staff did not have my booking from Booking.com. After a long wait to check in they placed me next to a party with loud speakers and music. I could not sleep. I called front desk which told me it would end and it went on for another three hours. the staff were apologetic but I am not sure they will actually change the behaviour. The management could be strengthened in terms of their presense when troubleshooting problems. They should have a time limit for corperate parties for the consideration and benefit of other guests, perhaps capping the music at 12 am. The buffet foood does not offer vegetarian options. The vegetables and some food was not so fresh.

Truly amazing! Great memories of our first trip to Ghana!
The entire experience at the resort was amazing/ fantastic/ 10/10 . The check-in and check-out very smooth. Staff were incredible and very friendly. Upon arrival we were taken in the electrical cart to our room and then provided with a tour of the premises. All of this was excellent. Staff all have made the resort shine brightly. We will tell our friends of this place.
1. Communication/ lack of it before we arrived. 2. We ended up taking a 4 hour bus ride...which no one needs to do. Information can be provided about relatively inexpensive flight from Accra to Takoradi. Then the resort can provide transportation to the resort from Takoradi. The only thing inconvenient about the resort is the lack of transportation to it. 2. The only ATM on the premises has been non-functioning for over a couple of months. This is a great inconvenience. 3. The management can support local people. Information can be provided that tourists can see monkeys and crocodiles if they go early morning to the village on the water on stilts. I would have gladly supported the local economy. Please give back to the local community! I did take a tour about it was later in the morning when monkeys and crocodiles are away. I did support the local school. 4. Tourists like us from Canada would have appreciated fresh coconut water and coconut given that these grow in Ghana!!! 5. Finally, I was a bit disappointed that I could not be in the ocean. I understand the dangers and the liability. I had to be content to hearing the power of the waves, and walking in it. I don't mean to encourage swimming in ocean with strong currents. But a life-guard around to allow close to the beach being IN the ocean would have made this vacation--too short-- truly memorable. My daughter enjoyed swimming in the pool though. Thank you for the opportunity to provide all this feedback. Excellent resort: Will spread the word. Thank you again!

We are serial guests; please take our views seriously.
The facilities are generally up to expected standard. Rooms clean; addition of beach front bar since previous visit was a plus. Swimming pool a highlight, although too much loud music - little peace at Maaha at Christmas; no relent - but that is about my preference. Get some proper cues and chalk for your pool table.
The food. The breakfast is poor, with customers faced with sliced hot dogs and overcooked onions. No fresh bread, and an astonishing lack of fresh fruit and juice in a country where such things should be highlights. Similarly, the buffet offering is disappointing, with poor quality meat and dishes that seem to contain MSG (Maggi?) and condemn diners to dry mouths for the nights. Maaha is on the coast - where is the seafood? Forget the menu when we were there - prawns, octopus, barracuda, etc. - not available.

Disappointed and not worth the drive
The grounds were spacious and had a lot of green space.
No AC in room, mold in bathroom, only 1 of 3 pools available

Lower than expected
The resort is located on the beach, has much open space to walk. Swimming pool is great and the coconut after check in was appreciated
Room small and simple. The only option for dinner was a buffet meat oriented. Few options for vegetarians. Breakfast ok but no real coffee, in a coffee grower country. What a shame The vehicles used in the property run with diesel with smoke and bad olors.
