Old building nice. Close to train station but also nice garden
Expansion ugly and modern entrance dark and uninviting. Big anonymous spaces everywhere. Too bad the original wasn’t more thoughtfully expanded

We enjoyed everything at the hotel. The food, especially the candle-light dinner, was amazing. The hotel has a great location, right next to the Salamander station, and there are many nice places nearby. The hotel is dog-friendly, and the rooms are comfortable and clean. We also enjoyed the pool — the water temperature and the size of the pool were perfect. Everybody was really kind to us. Special thanks to the Hungarian waiters for their kind service.

We really liked the exterior style of the building, especially the historic part, it has a lot of character. The breakfast was excellent, particularly the yogurt with blueberries and the wide variety of dried fruits and nuts. We also really enjoyed the sauna set at 40 degrees with salt, which was very relaxing.
We did not like the restaurant menu. On several occasions, some of the dishes listed were not actually available. There also seemed to be too few staff members for the number of guests, which affected the overall service. The prices were excessive.
The mattress was very uncomfortable and made it difficult to rest properly. Additionally, during the night there was heavy frost, and the following day many guests were slipping outside the hotel entrance because no salt had been spread and no warning signs were placed. This situation felt very dangerous and irresponsible.
