Very comfortable & quiet, fantastic friendly & helpful staff.

A cafe or restaurant would be fantastic however there is a cafe bar in reception for coffees.

The staff are lovely and down to earth! The facilities are also great and a unique experience

Glass of wine on check in. Friendly and helpful staff. There were so many more facilities available at the property than I initially thought. I wish I had more time there to make the most of the activities available. The room was clean, tidy & well maintained. A lot of thought has been put in to the comfort of guests during the colder months with the great heating, heated floors in the bathroom etc, we were very comfortable. Kitchen & cooking facilities with French press coffee was a nice touch. The pool and spa were very clean and tidy. Overall we enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t be against returning.

Being ushered to our room felt nice in the beginning, staff were friendly and advising of the facilities onsite available for our use. There was then a conversation for attending their presentation for membership/timeshare etc. we were not aware of this upon booking and attempted to politely decline the invitation to which the response was more persuasion with a gift voucher/free breakfast etc. we did feel uncomfortable to decline again so we did say okay. After coming down sick we did not end up attending and had to cut our trip short to head home early, however, we did research and it is certainly not something we would have been interested in.

Beautiful property with history worth visiting. Walking through the hallways felt like walking through a story. The rooms were great, sufficient amenities in the kitchen and rooms. Staff were helpful and approachable.

- We were assigned second level room, which is climbing two flights of stairs (no lift) with our luggages and holding our young children's hands or carrying them (1.5 and 6 years old). It was very inconvenient for the 3 days going up and down. - Sound proofing was not good, we had to endure listening to neighbour's TV through the night in our bedroom. - Even though we booked for both rooms with ensuite bathrooms, one of the showers heads was not working, hence we still had to shower with one bathroom for four people. - To access the shower, you have to climb two steps to get in, which is difficult and a bit of a hazard for young children. - Hand wash was affixed to the mirror, which was too high for our 6 year old to access it on her own. - Carpark was far from the rooms, it was a few minutes walk just to get back and forth. - Biggest disappointment was the heated indoor pool (most important reason why we booked the place) as it was way too cold for any of us to swim in. Children were shivering and lips turning blue in just 5 minutes. We had to leave the pool which was a big bummer for the children as they were looking forward to it.
