Die Raumaufteilung, chic, aber dass man vom Schlafzimmer ins Bad sieht ist unangenehm und selbst für ein altes Ehepaar störend, dass bis zum Toilettgang nichts im Bad verborgen bleibt.

– Das größte Lob hat sich der nicht nur stets adrett gekleidete, sondern mit perfekten Umgangsformen und der genau richtigen Dosis Charme & Witz ausgestattete Maître d'hôtel Felix Rieger verdient; er sorgt im Alleingang für Service auf internationalem Top-Niveau und gleicht etwaige Nachlässigkeiten seiner Kollegen umgehend aus
– phasenweise vernimmt man in dieser ruralen Gegend einen penetranten Geruch in der Luft, mutmaßlich von der benachbarten Geflügelfarm
– abgesehen vom ausgezeichneten Maître d'Hôtel, lässt die Professionalität des teilweise sehr jungen Personal zu wünschen übrig: Bei meiner Ankunft an einem Freitagabend gegen 19:45 Uhr hieß es von der Rezeptionsdame, es wäre leider nicht möglich, etwas zu essen zu bekommen. Gott sei Dank eilte kurz danach ihr Kollege zur Hilfe und verschaffte mir einen Platz im halbleeren Restaurant.
– Die leitende Service-Dame beim Frühstück sollte punkto Umgangsformen und Serviceorientierung eine hausinterne Nachschulung bei Herrn Rieger nehmen; eine derartig ruppige Art hat in diesem preislichen Umfeld nichts verloren.
– Die beiden Nebenräume des Frühstückslokals wecken atmosphärisch Assoziationen mit dem »Marchfelderhof« und passen nicht zu dem hohen stilistischen Anspruch der restlichen Herberge.

Breakfast was quite good. Beds were very comfortable. Pretty good location if you want to visit the wineries in the area.
Room was dirty upon arrival. Hair on the floor, unemptied trash bin in bathroom. Mentioned this to reception and they said they would send someone to clean it again, but the hair was all there when I got back to the room. The you get receptionist was also quite flippant about it. While this was not a big deal and I wasn’t upset, she could have understood that in the pandemic era, things like this make you wonder about whether hygiene standards are being met. I even told them exactly where the hair was and, still, they didn’t do anything. Also, as other reviewers have said, it is ridiculous to have sheet curtains and complete visibility into the bathroom toilet. Even spouses don’t want to watch each other sit on the toilet. The toilet is also placed with no clearance on either side. Very poorly designed room and the hotel had a very cold and unwelcoming feel to it because of the design.
