The room is great. Staffs are friendly, I got early check in right away when there's room available. There's a capsule coffee machine and separated toilet with the shower. Location is quite central so I can walk around from Votive Church to Stadpark, basically everything in old town is accessible by walking or by using tram nearby. For further places, it's near the underground U3 within 5-10min away.
I had the one located on the lower floor where the window was facing the yard, so a bit worried about the people peeking. But the blinds were working just fine and no one using that area. Also, there's a segment of the hotel that's still under renovation, but it doesn't affect me much since there's no dust.

Rooms were spacious, clean and felt luxurious. Air conditioning effective. We had one double and one twin as requested. Had all amenities except a coffee machine/kettle.
Hotel was under renovation so some areas were / floors were a building site. This didn’t affect us Sunday but lobby was very noisy Tuesday as we checked out.

The location is great and walking distance to all the museums
Disappointing stay despite an excellent location
Unfortunately, our stay did not get off to a good start. The male receptionist who checked us displayed very little customer service — we were simply handed our room keys and given directions, with no real welcome or explanation of the hotel facilities.
The hotel was also undergoing renovation during our stay, which we had not been made aware of before booking. When the taxi driver dropped us off at the entrance displayed in the photo, the building looked closed. We were genuinely concerned as it was late at night when we arrived and thought we'd have to stay elsewhere. Had we known this in advance, we would have reconsidered our booking.
The room itself was considerably more basic than the photographs suggested. It was ground floor. There was no welcome information explaining breakfast times, facilities, Wi-Fi, or other useful details. The coffee facilities were extremely basic, with only two sachets provided.
There were also some strange practical issues. The kettle had no accessible socket nearby, meaning we had to put it on the floor to use it. There was no iron in the room, nor any information explaining whether one was available elsewhere.
Perhaps most disappointing for a three-night stay was the lack of housekeeping. Our room was cleaned once, and the coffee supplies were not replenished. We bought a jar ourselves. We also barely saw any staff or other guests during our stay, which gave the whole hotel a strangely empty and somewhat impersonal atmosphere.
To put it bluntly, the experience felt a little like that Simpsons episode where Homer and Marge book a romantic hotel and somehow end up staying in the utility room.
The location is excellent, but as a well-travelled couple, we would expect considerably more for a three-night stay costing around £400. We have stayed in more accommodating hostels.
