The property was beautiful and the rooms were clean, and as described. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. We had a situation where we needed to add days to our reservation and they were very responsive. Some staff spoke English which was very helpful. The beach was right behind property and the water was stunning and clear. They arranged a sailboat excursion that is a must! We highly recommend Hotel Stella Mais!

A wonderful stay at Stella Maris! A unique and charming hotel with a relaxing, classic atmosphere. The staff were friendly and professional, the breakfast was delicious, and our room was spotless with a breathtaking view. The location is perfect, right on the beach and ideally situated between the marina and the village, making everything easily accessible. Highly recommended! Fantastic location on the most beautiful beach. Most Sardinian hotels are slightly old fashioned but we had a huge private balcony overlooking the sea. Lovely gardens & pool area but the beach was hard to beat!
Would be nice to have a coffee machine in the room & a toaster in the breakfast room

The room was big and clean. Room cleaning staff are very friendly. But the same cannot be said for the sunbathing garden. No one collected the left water bottles and glasses for 3 days. There is no service to the sunbathing places in various parts of the garden. It had a sea view. It has a big and beautiful garden. It's good to have silence at all hours of the day. Breakfast average.It is important to have a private car park.Close to the center of villasimius. There is a wide variety of restaurants and places to shop there.
The hotel has its own beach. But if you bought your room from booking.com, you have to pay 100 euros every day to get service from the beach. This description is not available on the booking.com page. This information should be added to the hotel's booking.com page.You can sunbathe and get a towel by the pool, but you can not sit on the beach.The hotel's dinner options are not good. But expensive. Better suitable resturants can be found nearby. Few employees speak English. Our suitcase was lost. There was an Italian record from the number dialed for tracking. The hotel was not very helpful, saying they were very busy. We went to the airport when we couldn't connect on the phone. Before going to the area which is an hour and a half away, we informed the reception and left their mobile phone and asked them to let us know if they call the office. When we went to the airport, we learned that they called the hotel and informed that the suitcase would arrive in 3 hours. The hotel did not call but when we returned we realized that they left a message in the room they knew we were not :-)
