Awesome location, clean comfortable room, great breakfast, and friendly staff. We would definitely stay here again if we are in Bolzano. It is also very convenient if you are hiking in the nearby mountains. The staff even allowed us to leave luggage in between stays when we left to go hiking.
At night it got a little warm because the aircon would not go below 25 Celsius, other than that everything was perfect!

Hotel Kolpinghaus was probably once a religious residence. Our room was long and narrow, perfect for a prayerful occupant. Fortunately, the hotel has been modernized; while small, our room was ideal for our stay. A new elevator definitely helped.
The wifi was horrible in our room. Each morning, I moved to the common area near the reception.
