Very good location walking distance to everything including several supermarkets, good communication about access, comfy beds, lots of nice touches to make the stay comfy such as places to hang clothing, well stocked kitchen, nice 'welcome basket', good quantity of items such as loo rolls, shower gel, washing up liquid etc. Great having two bathrooms. Spotlessly clean. The decor and plants made it feel like a home from home. Given the very central location it was surprisingly quiet with only a bit of outside noise on Saturday night, the building itself is very quiet. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and would stay again.
Only minor things, we did think there was a lift but perhaps our mistake. The blind does let quite a bit of light into the upstairs bedroom. The window in the downstairs bedroom did rattle a bit.

The property is very centrally located in old town Edinburgh, you are able to walk everywhere in Edinburgh and see all the sights. The apartment was clean and the welcome food and drinks are a nice touch.
Understandably in Edinburgh there are many stairs you need to consider when arriving with luggage. The apartment is not necessarily modern, though it is comfortable. A clothes dryer would be a great addition.

The apartment is in a great location, quiet but within easy reach of everything
On our arrival we noticed that the apartment hadn’t been cleaned properly, there was broken glass on the bedroom floor and the bed looked as though it had been slept in! However we notified the owner, who was extremely concerned and helpful and a cleaner was there within the hour. All in all this apartment is a good place to stay for location and price. I think we had a problem due to the cleaning company used but, hopefully this has been resolved by the owner
