Great pool and location right on the beach . Great spot for a short stay .. We got a seaside view and I am glad we did, otherwise it wouldn't have been great.
The rooms are very basic and dated but the beds were comfortable. No mini fridge in the room or ice machine in the building

I have always loved the Tropicana for years because it was affordable and clean and had good service. The location right on the beach is great.
Prices have doubled to tripled in the last five years. Although prices are not horrible, the hotel is falling apart. There are stains on the side of the buildings. A lot of the pools tiles in the pool are missing, the waitstaff is horrible. You cannot get anybody to wait at you on you at the beach. Local families bring all their own food and booze very poorly confiscated and sit on the beach drinking their own stuff. The bartender is not friendly at all. Tourists hog up all the pool chairs early in the morning and then they leave with their towel on the chair so you can’t ever get a pool lounge.
