We had a truly unforgettable experience during our 3-night stay here.
Firstly, the host was incredibly friendly. He is a man in his 70s or 80s who took care of us like his own children. He only speaks Spanish, but Google Translate helped us communicate perfectly.
Secondly, the breakfast was sumptuous. There was no fixed breakfast timing, and the host always tried his best to accommodate our schedule — even on the day we had the Base Torres tour at 6am. We ate similar food every morning, and on the third day he even offered to make scrambled eggs in case we were getting bored.
Thirdly, the entire property was spotless, including the bathroom. The house has a sailor-themed decoration, suggesting he may have had a previous career or passion related to the sea.
Fourth, the location is superb — about a 10-minute walk from the bus station, and just minutes away from a supermarket and the coastline where many of Puerto Natales’ main attractions are located.
Lastly, this stay offers excellent value for money. It was one of the most affordable options in Puerto Natales and even included free breakfast.
I highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a warm and memorable experience in Puerto Natales!
There is another property called “Hostal Baquedano” directly opposite, which can be slightly confusing upon arrival.
Also, the final payment includes taxes which were not clearly explained on the booking platform, though this seems to be common practice in the area.

The host Miguel was so sweet and accommodating. He asked what time we wanted breakfast, made sure we were comfortable, and tried to speak English as best he could since I missed the detail that the host only spoke Spanish.
My one complaint was that j didnt realize our room window was the hallway of the accommodation. There were blinds but it still felt less private.

Clean, cheap for a private room, and decent breakfast served
The bedroom has NO window! This means air is a bit stuffy and it’s a bit depressing without daylight.
Owner wanted to charge 5€ to leave our bags for the afternoon and pressed us to checkout 10 minutes before deadline despite us being ready to leave.
