One of the most beautiful and calming places I’ve ever stayed. Great location in the historical center, in a charming renovated mansion. The staff were also so kind and accommodating. Hated having to leave!

It is a cute boutique hotel with a great location for exploring Pelourinho. The staff is professional.
The breakfast is just ok, nothing special. And the staff, while correct, isn’t really warm; sometimes there is subtle sense of distance.

The hotel is located on main square of the historic district in the amazing building and beautifully decorated. Staff is wonderful and very hospitable

Lovely location and great breakfast.
I got a serious injury on my ancle from stepping over an old nail that fell from a door in my room (at the very beginning of my honey moon!) it was a major disappointment that the hotel is not well kept. I had to loose a day going to the hospital, (experiencing the social harshness of the local hospital with handcuffed thief’s and armed police making a fuzz on the place) i had to be vaccinated against tetanus, spent the rest of my holidays limping.
overall it was nice but this experience affected my whole trip. The offered cordon with an extra night on because i requested it. Staff was helpful and the driver that took me to the hospital was very kind too, but this goes to a higher level of administration and maintenance.
