Room was spotless anac beds were very comfortable. We don’t usually select breakfast in hotels but we did here. They had. Great selection including fried eggs and we used them both mornings. Having n elevator was great and the staff was helpful.
This was nothing the hotel could control. There is major street construction in front of the hotel with the street totally blocked off so we spent more than n hour trying to get to the hotel to block off our luggage which we never accomplished. We parked at the 24 hour free parking place which was an 8 minute walk away. Since we are 84/77 years old the haul with all our luggage was difficult . When we left we discovered that we could bring our car all the way up Strandgade to the very end where construction begins and we were practically at the front door of the hotel. This made a world of difference as the walk to the parking lot with no luggage was a breeze.

Proximity to station and ferry and everything. Staff was kind. Tea selection is nice.
Really old rooms with only a surface fix up. Could hear everything from room above us and was very cramped. Construction on street made it hard to enter and wasn’t informed until arrival day. Shower is odd configuration, messy and bath needs a fan. Overpriced for what you get and I do not recommend unless it’s your only option. Next time we would stay across water somewhere in Helsingborg, Sweden or south closer to Copenhagen.
