WATER ABOUNDS: Located directly on Lafitte Cove, a protected waterway, this fun and relaxing home has a private boat slip and private pool. The beautiful emerald waters and white sand of Pensacola Beach are less than a two-minute walk to the south of the home; and the calm waters of Santa Rosa Sound are just steps to the north. The master bedroom has one king bed, private bath, and private deck facing Lafitte Cove. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bed with views of Santa Rosa Sound. Bedroom 3 has two sets of bunk beds, ideally suited for children and teens. A sleeper couch is in living area; and off the living area, the large covered deck overlooks the pool and Lafitte Cove. Brand new flooring throughout! Updated pictures coming soon. The home welcomes friendly canine family members under 30 pounds with pet fee. Whether a beach-goer, sunbather, boater, diver, or kayaker you will find your stay exciting, enjoyable and relaxing. Complimentary WiFi. Gas grill. 10 cup coffeemaker. Need to spray for roaches more often. They came by and sprayed but still they were out and about. Or if you opened a closed door. Also only half the outlets worked. Floor very uneven. If you had a walking issue at all this could be a problem. you could tell this home has been rented alot.

Had a wonderful time on our vacation. The rental was in a perfect location, right by our favorite Place, Peg leg Pete’s. House was in great condition, pool was great. Best part was how close the walk to the Gulf. Highly recommend.

Property not worth the $6K per week. Not clean upon are arrival. Called the property management and they were going to send someone over, no one showed and I ended up cleaning it myself. Very outdated, bunch of mismatched furniture and no dressers (had to live out of our suitcases that we had to place on the floor of the closets. This also included small appliances, had to call property management the first several days of being their to replace a couple small appliances. We had issues with doors being very difficult to close, Repairman came out and did the best he could, but their were still issues and you could see gaps where light was come thru up top. Told me it was time the owners replaced doors. Picnic table was in such bad shape (we could have gotten splinters from it had we used it), asked if we could replace with new one in the garage. Property Management said they would inquire with the owners and get back with us, never heard back. I could go on, but I think you get the point. With all my concerns, I was told the Property Manager would call me Monday morning, never heard from him. We do not have any issues spending money to rent a home for vacation and have never had issues with those homes, but this home was very disappointing. Will not rent again!!!

We had a great stay that could not have been better. The property is in a perfect location with quick and easy access to the Gulf and Sound. The pool was spotless and was a wonderful addition to the property. In addition, the house was supplied with an abundance of outside chairs and picnic tables as well as a grill. The kitchen was well stocked and plenty of bath towels were supplied. The management company Paradise Rentals made the check-in and check-out process was seamless. Overall a great rental property.

The lights in the pool and the outside lights for the pool did not work, we were told the owners were working on it along with the cable upstairs. The balcony railing on the top floor was VERY loose, and the second balcony was loose, we spoke with the rental company and it was fixed promptly but we had our granddaughter with us, could have been bad. Needs repairs. But it was a wonderful location all in all not to bad.

The only bad thing I have to say is, I told the office I had a minor at the property alone with no adult there, and yet they still sent their maintenance men out to deliver a refrigerator. In my opinion that could've waited until I was there or until we checked out! It's not like we got to use the new one! I was not happy at all about the office not listening to me about waiting! I do property management for a living, this was not professional at all! The pictures were old and misleading!

The rental (inside) was a bit run down and in need of TLC but in the right location-right next to the beach. The outdoor amenities were perfect for relaxing and forgetting the real world. Inside needs a makeover and a deep cleaning. Regardless, we are willing to come next year and make more memories!

Location. Location, Location!!!!!
Amazing location, only rental on the cove! Short walk to beach or bay. Close to Peg Leg Pete's, and a free trolley stop. Pool is refreshing, no handrail for older people to get in safely. Everyone has different levels of comfort and we were there for the beach, so it was amazing. We got to see dolphins and find sand dollars. It could have been cleaner, the beds could have been newer and more comfortable but this did not deter from our vacation!!! Thank you for sharing your home!!

Had a very nice time.This is the first extended vacation we have ever taken 1month. Good location comfortable.Bathrooms and kitchen clean could stand some over all deep cleaning and some basic TLC.Maybe some updating but that can get expensive. Would come back loved the bike riding and walking path.

Rented for 2 months. Nice location, easy and quick access to both the beach and the sound. It was fun to watch the fisherman, birds, and dolphins out back in the canal. House is comfortable with plenty of kitchen dishes and cooking pans, etc. needed to make meals at home including a gas grill. Decor is a little dated, bathrooms could be updated. Overall we had a nice couple months here, we had a few minor issues but the management company was quick to deal with them.

Our families gathered together at this lovely spot at the end of the lagoon. It had a lovely view, great neighbors and a very short walk to the beach. We had plenty of room and the location was very convenient to everything. The ONLY thing missing would have been blankets on the beds during the winter months.

The house was perfect for our stay. It is a 1min walk to the most perfect beach. The views from the back deck of the pool and waterfront was great for an evening cocktail. We even caught some speckled trout right out back. The house was clean and spacious. It is a 3 min walk to peg leg petes restaurant which had amazing seafood and ice cold beers. We had a wonderful time would recommend to any group looking to enjoy Pensacola.

Home smelled musty. Mold on ceiling in kitchen entry way and living room ceiling. Refrigerator smelly. Mold in shower upstairs. Mold by light fixtures in master bath. Love set in master bedroom very dirty. Back deck had rust on brackets that hold up top deck. May be a danger. House keeping needs to do a better job. Ceiling fans need to be replaced kitchen and living room.

The house was in a great location. The layout was perfect. My only real complaint was the pool filter didn't seem to be working properly. I asked if the property had a vacuum for the pool so we could try to clean it a bit. I was told a pool guy came twice a week, but we never saw anyone. We still swam, but it was just a bit murky. We would still stay here again!

This property was exactly as described, and had been thoroughly cleaned. We had a wonderful vacation and will surely return to Pensacola. The only recommendations I have would be to replace the carpet, as it was not in the best condition, and improve air flow in two of the bedrooms upstairs. Loved the location. Paradise Beach Homes personnel very friendly and most helpful.

Overall the house was great. As per some of the comments from other guests online, property could use some updates to match the price point of the rental, but the location was wonderful. Though a little dated, everything worked minus the wifi, and cable downstairs. We were able to access the WIFI , but it was at such a low rate, it was completely unusable. Again, not huge issue since we were on the beach, but it needs to be either removed from advertisement or fixed.
Only other comment would be one of the bunks was pretty shaky. Might need to be screwed together a little more.

It is old, dirty, and unsafe. This owner is milking this property for every drop of rental income without updating. The advertise it as a home with a dock but the dock is not usable as it exists. There are no pilings available for any vessel and without a lift the area referred to as a dock or slip is worthless. There were many roaches inside the unit and the place has a mildew smell throughout. The outside of the property is as unkept as the inside. I would not rent this place and I think less of any agency that features this property. The idea that this place has earned more than one star only means that the reviews have been edited. Stay away.

I loved the location, pool, garage, furnishings, porches. Used grill. Great stay. The only turn off was the old carpet upstairs. It was smelly and dirty feeling under your feet, furnishings are shabby upstairs. Broken lamp etc. no effort to make it nice - just beds for as many people possible.

It just needs a polaris to run at night. The driveway needs landscaping. No curb appeal. Overgrown and sandy. Some renovations could make this a super nice place to stay.
If you're looking for simple and efficient, then this is your place. If you're looking for something updated and nice, this isn't it.
