The staff were exceptional at all times. They were so helpful, gregarious and overwhelmingly friendly and courteous. This included from the owner and all other staff members. Clearly, some of the best that I have ever experienced in my travels.
one had to return primarily because of all staff members.
The stairs to the higher floors, as you have to experience everywhere in London.

2 minute walk from Paddington station, everything you could possibly need is nearby. The rooms are well furnished and the bathrooms although small, are very nicely done. Friendly staff on reception that are more than willing to carry your bags to and from the room - beware there are 4 floors and no lift!!
The rooms are fitted with air con units but they come at an extra charge... so only really a problem in the summer months.
