This hotel is in a beautiful part of the old town in caravaca del cruz. The standard of decor is very high and beautiful done.

The location of the hotel was perfect for the end of the Camino Levante, and for sight seeing afterwards. Bars and restaurants were close by.
Our room was clean and comfortable.
We couldn’t make the security box in the room work and we struggled with the air conditioning. We didn’t bring either issue to the attention of the staff so they had no opportunity to help.

Excellent location in the middle of the town parked on the outskirts with no problem as the medieval market was on and was very busy everywhere

We were met at reception by a very polite female receptionist who could have been more helpful. The hotel is well located to enable an easy walk to all the main attractions and restaurants within the city. The room had a good private terrace which enabled a view of the Basilica. The continental breakfast was more than adequate.
The fact that the hotel advertise a mini bar which we found contained only water. There was no information regarding the sale of alcohol so we had to forgo the Cava on our private terrace. It was not until we checked out that the Manager said all we had to do was ask and Cava would have be provided, surely that information should have been available in the room? Whilst the hotel had a small coffee shop / bar we were denied entrance on 2 separate occasions despite the fact there was a 'we are open' sign out side the room. There was a complete lack of shelving in the bathroom and shower which meant all toiletries' had to be placed on the floor. Similarly there were insufficient hangers in the wardrobes, luckily we bought our own. The shower was not working properly as I believe the thermostat was faulty resulting in the water temperature going from cold to very hot. Whist the hotel offers parking facilities (at euro 15 a day), they have allocated spaces within an underground car park some 300m from the hotel, I would however strongly advise that unless you drive a mini or fiat uno I would give the parking a wide berth as some of the spaces allocated to the hotel are both small and virtually inaccessible.
