Excellent hotel for airport

Excellent hotel - brilliant as an airport option and really good value. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. On check-in the staff clarified our taxi requirements for getting to the airport next day and this was all sorted for us, taking away any stress. Breakfast was great. coffee, fruit, cereal, toast. Two adorable dogs - very friendly towards guests staying in the hotel, but not so friendly to the dog over the road (although that seemed to be the other dog's fault - he started it). As other reviews have said there is barking overnight in the area so take earplugs. Decent WiFi.

Amazing family that made for a memorable stay!

Staff were so incredibly friendly and helpful. we were the only guests and they were very accommodating and even made us a meal at 930pm. Meal was very delicious. They also accommodated a very early flight the next day. there is a cost for airport shuttle, but it’s better then taking a taxi.

there were spiders in the room, we had the window open for cool air and dog barked and fought all night, there are roosters that started crowing in the middle of the night. We probably would have heard this noises from most places in that area and I’m sure the spiders are very common as well.

excellent value hostel close to the airport.

Excellent small guesthouse. Very clean and close to the airport. They offer fresh delicious meals if needed. There is also a few stores and restaurants close by and there a small well equipped kitchen for your use. Wifi is very good. Filipe and his daughter are great hosts.

The Hospitality of Philippe was amazing ! He drove me the to airport in the morning for my flight. I would 100% recommend Chapelet Hostal if you need to stay close to the airport or you want a place with nice hospitality from the owner. Thank you

was beyond our expectations

very clean, very close to the airport(8 minutes), Felipe (the owner) picked us up from the airport even though our flight got in at 8 pm,and he was extremely nice and accommodating, great breakfast.

Felip come picked me up at the airport and took me back the day after, even though I arrived late he offered something to eat a cold beverage and asked if I needed anything else. Breakfast was good as well

Lovely stay in a nice location with a beautiful family run hostal. I highly recommend!

Felipe and his family have gone above and beyond to take care of my husband and me. My husbanded tested positive for covid before boarding a flight to the US. They quickly came and got us from the airport, provided comfy rooms for us. And Felipe’s wife made the most delicious food including power juices for my husband. The place is spotless! They are the sweetest and kindest family, willing to be of assistance in anyway. We are forever grateful to them.

Lovely place!

I was picked up on time, the hostal is lovely, and I was even serenaded with wonderful guitar music! The room was small, but laid out well and the bathroom was sparkly clean. And the hostel dog was friendly and very happy to be petted!

Stayed here the night before flying out. Took a walk around the terreno, read in the hammock, and walked only a short distance to a great pizza place. The owner is was very kind and accommodating; very easy transfer to the airport in the morning!

Dogs were barking outside our window most of the night and a group arrived very late night keeping us up.

Great stay!

I warmly recommend this hotel, located 8 min away from the airport. The rooms are simple but clean, quiet, with good WIFI access. The most outstanding part is the incredible hospitability from the host, Felipe! We only had a short night in Quito in between flights, and he kindly took us on a late night ride to view the city center after welcoming us at the airport. Without him we would have missed the opportunity to see Quito at all, so we are very grateful !

No hot water for shower and water flow in faucet is very low :(

The best place!

Felipe is such a welcoming host! He went above and beyond. He happily picked us up from the airport even though our flight came in after 1 AM. He played his guitar during breakfast, and helped us get to our next destination. We can't thank him enough. This place is the best!

Nice, helpful host and close to the airport

Super committed host. Even though our flight was extremely delayed, he picked us up and provided a nice dinner. Also, we got a tour through the hotel's garden and fields. Very impressive! Perfect for a layover, close to the airport.

The best option for your stay near the airport

Felipe will make you feel at home instantly, very helpful and welcoming. The hostal has a large garden (too much rain to enjoy it when we were there), clean rooms, comfortable beds, a terrace, and a shared living room with books and even toys for kids. There is a restaurant service which is a real advantage in this part of town where dining options are scarce. Bonus, the breakfast is really good.

For the price, there is nothing I can complain about.
