Hostal rústico con encanto

Las personas encargadas del hostal que hicieron nuestra estancia más feliz. El desayuno bueno y abundante y la habitacion con vistas al parque Alameda.

Würdiger Abschluss einer Pilgerwanderung

Die Lage des Zimmers war hervorragend mit freiem Blick auf die Kathedrale. Das Frühstück war mehr als ausreichend, der Kaffee ein Genuss. Die Ausstattung der kleinen Herberge ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail zusammengestellt. Die Herberge liegt nur wenige Gehminuten von der Altstadt/Kathedrale entfernt. Gleich in der Nähe ist ein schöner Park zum Verweilen. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Für mich ein zusätzliches Highlight waren die Farben in meinem Zimmer. Bei meiner Pilgertour nach Rom fand ich über Booking ein ähnliches Zimmer.

Keinerlei Kritikpunkte. Nach Abschluss einer Pilgerreise sucht man ein ruhiges sauberes Zimmer für sich allein (zumindest in meinem Alter). Alles war gegeben - worüber dann Schlechtes erzählen?

Exceptional place to stay

Exceptional service. Warm people. Felt like home away from home. Very accommodating since I didn't speak the language. I spoke in English. The breakfast was great. Rooms, checkin service good. They took the payment on the last day which was good. Rooms didn't have a kettle but they provided with a warmer which was helpful. I loved the decor of the house. Everything was good. I truly enjoyed my stay and would higly recommend the place Hostal Alfonsa. Location is very convenient to the places of interest and public transport.

The staffs were very friendly. The hotel was clean and breakfast was nice.

although the hotel provided a fan (and Spain had an unusual heatwave), it wasn't enough to cool down the room, moreover due to the outside noises from cars (because we had to open windows), we could not sleep ...

A lovely hotel with an outstanding breakfast and super friendly and generous service.

The hotel staff were so friendly, helpful and generous!!! The breakfast was outstanding. My egg was cooked to perfection. The location was perfect and there is a lovely patio to sit in. I would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay! The proprietors went above and beyond throughout, from helping us store our bicycles when we arrived to the beautiful breakfast and coffee spread before we left. Highly recommend.

This is a very pleasant and peaceful place to stay in Santiago DC. The hosts are lovely.

This was a lovely small hotel conveniently located just outside the old and historic center of town. As such I believe it might be quieter than staying inside the more touristic area. The owners couldn't be nicer and I was impressed with the generous breakfasts. My room, though small, was more than adequate for a solo traveler.

My only issue is that the bathroom was so compact that it felt cramped. I suspect someone much bigger / taller than me might find it an problem.

We like the homey atmosphere and decor, very authentic feeling, real close to the casco antiguo, buses, train... Excellent service and super friendly.

We didn't have time to enjoy all the amenities they offer because of early flight!

Superb

The owners are spectacularly generous & professional at the same time. Our room was comfortable & there were enough sockets to recharge our phones. Our bags were carried up and down the stairs for us since there is no elevator. The breakfast was great!

I love the breakfast. Room was small but cosy with baeutiful view on the Cathedral.

The bathroom was too small, but bonus was the hair dryer.
