At the end of your Camino journey, you want to splurge and book this hotel. Not only are the grounds beautiful and the location beside the Cathedral ideal, but luxuriating in a bath and having coffee and tea amenities in the room glorious after the long walk. The breakfast buffet was exceptional. Highly recommend!

Amazing parador next to the cathedral. Very luxurious and amazing to stay in a historic building right in the centre. The breakfast buffet is sensational with the highlight being the huge variety of fruit!

If you're going to Santiago to appreciate its origins and religious/cultural relevance to Christianity and/or to Spain, this is THE HOTEL. Zero debate.
