Having a pool but also being close to a beautiful small sandy beach with such clear water.

Location was very near-less than five mins walk from brilliant beach-Ammoudara Beach and local tavernas and shops just a few kms drive or bus- from Agios Nicholaos.
Villa well set out, nice balcony allowing watching the sun rise and gentle ocean breezes. Quiet and private. Great pool.
Maria, owner very happy to help with any questions, suggestions, gave a bottle of wine at start and cretan olive oil on leaving.
Had everything we needed. Would certainly return again.
The steps down to the beach (50 in total) looked a bit daunting but easily managed after first use. The handrail was a bit wobbly. Steps could be avoided by use of taxi-6 euro from Ammoudara or 11 euro from Agios Nicholaos when returning with groceries.

Great view. Very nice pool location
The buildings are very old. My apartment and the one next to me had plumbing problems. As a result we didn't bathe for a day and a half. The toilet wasn't available as well. The owner didn't even apologise and just commented "these things happen"!!! Overrated for the asking price!!! Too much overrated!!!! (The problem was fixed the next day by a plumber but still the "salt treatment" was a bit too much)
