Firma Efraim was a nice place to stay in Monte Cafe. The staff are amazing and the food is very good. There’s a lovely upstairs terrace and seating area.
We stayed in a downstairs room. There is no bathroom door, so check you’re ok with that when you book. Other rooms are ok. The upstairs room was lovely.
We were there at the weekend and Monte Cafe was noisy through the night into the morning. Firma Efraim is working hard with the community to address this problem and are well aware of it.

Lo mejor, el ceviche que tomamos para cenar y el abundante desayuno.
La habitación es un poco básica, podría mejorarse el baño y el mobiliario.

Gefallen hat und vieles. Der Welcome-Drink war eine besondere Überraschung, welche wir nicht erwartet haben. Sehr lecker. Das Personal war sehr herzlich und authentisch. Wir konnten die Inhouse Kaffe Herstellung durch einer persönlichen Führung des charmanten Managers erfahren. Dieser Kaffe kann dann auch direkt gekauft werden. Das drei Gang Menü (mit zusätzlich Gruss aus der Küche) war authentisch und lokal gekocht und auch überzeugend lecker. Wir haben viele Informationen über das Dorf und den Betrieb vom Manager bekommen, was eine vereichernde Erfahrung war. Abschliessend lässt sich sagen, dass wir es sehr genossen haben und wiederkommen würden. Geheimtipp!

L'allotjament és a la mateixa roça de Monte Café i és a tocar del parc natural de São Tomé. L'habitació estava neta i hi havia aigua calenta. Les instal·lacions estan força ben cuidades.
El servei de cuina és MOLT lent. Vam estar més d'una hora esperant el dinar i 50 minuts esperant que ens servissin l'esmorzar, que eren dues truites a la francesa... L'atenció al públic és millorable. La cisterna del vàter no funconava bé i calia tancar o obrir cada cop la clau de pas de l'aigua.
