No es lo que esperaba.

El desayuno estuvo bien, no excelente pero puede ser mejor con más opciones de fruta y menos postres y dulces.

El hotel está ubicado en un lugar inseguro, la habitación no tenía minibar y solo un refrigerador vacío con la puerta abierta y lo único que encontré fue una botella de agua sobre la mesa. El ambiente es muy oscuro y las instalaciones viejas. Se hizo un recargo de $5 por pagar con tarjeta.

I want my money bad or a credit

Nothing ,terrible no professional customer service in my room special my bed was making a lot noises I wake up at 2:40’am to tell customers service but the guy can’t do nothing for us and the manager she didn’t was there when I come bad to the hotel the hotel it was the same guy couldn’t do nothing for us I will like to customers services call me bad Please I will like to have a credit bad thank you

I could not recommend Hotel Italia (Cuenca, Ecuador) more highly! It's a truly wonderful hotel in every way: the rooms, the staff and the location (and the price!). The room: I stayed in a Standard Single room and I had absolutely zero reason to complain. It was cleaned to the highest standard, not even a tiny, single loose hair etc. anywhere and the bed... When booking a single room, I expected a single bed, but the bed was gigantic (could've probably fit an entire family haha) and so incredibly comfortable. The staff: So incredibly friendly and you could just feel that their desire for your stay to be as pleasant as possible, is truly genuine, coming straight from the heart. I had a special requirement (which I informed the hotel about, before my arrival, at the time of booking) and they have truly exceeded my expectations, in trying to help me as best as they could. The location: The location was a very important thing for me, as I really wanted to be close to both, the airport (Cuenca Mariscal Lamar International) and the Cuenca bus station (Terminal Terrestre) in order for my journey to be as easy as possible and... Hotel Italia was the perfect choice, as it is a WALKING distance from both! About 8 minute walk to the bus station and 15 minutes to the airport.

Great view from a window. Great stuff.

The furniture was old. The room doesn't have a bath, as was promised and in the description. The hotel is in reality 2.5* if you compare it with the European rating standard.

Very good

Great spacious rooms. Good wifi, nice warm shower. Location is in easy walking distance to the downtown sights.

A little street noise is to be expected when booking a hotel in the centre.

Good breakfast and nice staff, but facilities need to be upgraded

Very good breakfast. Staff is nice and helpful.

The facilities definitely need to be upgraded! I got a really bad cold as the room isolation is just not good, the room was way too cold and you could hear a lot of noise from the street every night. Quite expensive for what you get.

couldn’t have chosen a better hotel

we liked everything about this place! the girls on reception were so friendly and helpful, the breakfast was amazing and the rooms very clean. highly recommend hotel Italia.

Good value for decent stay!

Hotel was clean and staff were very friendly. Check-in and check-out process were very easy. Comparing to other hotels we had stayed, breakfast was average. It has a variety of items to satisfy everyone; the bread was the most memorable.

It's no really a dislike...more of a convenient. The hotel was a 10-15 min walk from center of town. Given our tight schedules, it would have been better if we were a bit closer to the hotel. However, the taxi rides were very reasonable. Note that the hotel is pretty basic with no other amenities (i.e. pool, gym, etc.), but we wouldn't have time to use it anyway. It may a consideration for those looking to relax.
