I liked the layout out of the room, the channels available and how clean the room was. The room was quiet enough and was reasonable for a night stay.
I noticed that the customer service was much warmer and apparent for the previous customer. Strangely the tone and engagement changed when he addressed me and he demanded that I return my key whenever leaving the hotel to return which is something he didn’t suggest to the previous guest. His attitude was very strange towards me during my stay which I would like to believe wasn’t because of my skin colouring although I can’t be sure. Either way, I felt uneasy. I will also mention that the room i was given was a basement room so the view wasn’t great.

Location very convenient for one night as we were attending an evening cabaret at Lost Estates near West Kensington tube station. Staff very friendly although see the negative comment re our arrival.
We arrived to check in at 13.45 (we had notified hotel we expected to arrive 14.00) and the hotel was all locked up. We rang the bell several times but nobody came to open up. We phoned the number on the booking confirmation twice but the calls were not answered. We waited on the entrance steps for 10 minutes and somebody came to unlock the door just before 14.00. Also our bedroom (room M1), whilst very clean with everything needed for a one night stay, was tiny with two very small windows - one at floor level and one just below the ceiling. To see out had to either lie on the floor or stand on the one single chair in the room! It really should not be sold as a double bedroom.
