Staff is great. They have e scooters for rent which is convenient to cruise around ubud. Was a last minute option to stay here since our airbnb was not as advertised.

Beware, this place is absolutely infested with geckos, they are everywhere! Specially the hallways leading to the room at night u will come across 50 in one hallway, hallways have low ceiling which makes it more challenging to walk to rooms when they’re full of geckos above your head scattering once u walk. Luckily there was none in the room but we were extra careful. Food was not good.

Calm, rice field, and nature.

Element position is between tegalalang terrace field and ubud centre.

Traffic is always between 12.00 to 17.00.

Comfortable and very friendly staff.

It was very clean and tidy, the breakfast buffet was completely sufficient. We couldn't use the laundry because the information is a bit confusing, but overall a great stay. Staff very friendly and attentive to our needs.

A wonderful and relaxing stay in the heart of Bali

I've stayed in 3 hotel during this trip to Bali, and Element is definitely the one I liked best! It's spacious, all very clean, I got a huge room with amazing rainforest views. I love the pool and massage in the spa, breakfast is delicious with a lot of choice, and the restaurant serves diverse and delicious afternoon meals, too. If you get tired of this restaurantt, there're a couple other good options within walking distance. There're a lot of attractions within 20min ride from the hotel; some of them you can reach by the hotel's free shuttle. All in all, great value for money!

1) Airco in the room was too loud, and sleeping without airco was too warm, so I had to sleep with earmuffs (which I hate). 2) The bed was too soft for me. 3) Facial treatments weren't available at the hotel spa during my 4-day stay due to "lack of materials." A pity because I was really looking forward to it.

They should be more clear on their website about yoga classes and they also shouldn't say that they have a pillow menu. The pillows gave me the most terrible pain on my neck... I wish I had my own pillow

The gym is so poor in equipment, I was expecting a lot better being a 5 stars hotel. My husband got scam the first day we visit the restaurant and scan the qr for menu😒 Shower was not clean properly. People are lovely, breakfast could have more protein... buffet was probably 60% sweets and bread and I am more of a protein person

Our fave Zen property in Ubud

Our 3rd staying & always love the Zen atmosphere of Element Ubud, heavenly bed is always be on point! Andong Resto still the best!

1. We have stayed 3x times already since 2019 but it’s too bad our name is not on the repeater guests since we have always booked via booking.com but the reservation staffs cannot find our name. 2. A bit disappointed with a Cappuccino & black coffee this time, tasted absolutely horrible.. The Cappuccino tasted just like a water coffee. I remember they use to have a good Coffee machine at the breakfast area few years ago but not this time I think.

A lovely stay at value for money

- huge comfortable bed - good shower pressure - extensive breakfast buffet - nice pool with sufficient sun beds

- please realise the hotel is not at walking distance from the centre. You need a scooter or taxi - for a 5* hotel you may expect fresh coffee for b’fast. Not out of a container

Regrettable

Soooo poorly designed . No flow . Corners everywhere in the room and when you open the cupboard you bang into the sink corners , tables too low , toilet and bed no flow from one to the other , I hd a cold room with airflow coming in from outside on the first night and slept in winter wear literalally. The second night was ants infestation but housekeeping managed to sort that out. So basically you cannot order room service and if you do clear the tray immediately and ask for a tray to be delivered with the food I felt hassled and discombobulated in this room - fumbling around to get ready every day

Facing the wrong way , no good Feng shui. Same with rooms for some reason , bad finishings , sink was at an angle and too low Food was average Basically I came back needing another holiday

Great Hotel

Beds were super comfortable. Staff were very friendly helping us to book taxi to Sanur harbour. Free shuttle to central Ubud. Breakfast buffet had donuts and a great choice of food. Pool bar drinks were strong and there was a happy hour :)

Beautiful hotel, but the experience could be better.

The hotel environment was very nice in general. The room was nice and comfortable and very clean. The beds were very comfortable and the TV channels and selection was great! So was the wifi.

Breakfast selection is not great for the variety. The same dishes were served every day. Suggestions: Serve some roti or paratha for the Indian curries. Display your cheese, cold cuts and butter more prominently instead of in a drink fridge. Brew better coffee, it was very watered down. Ensure there are always cups and teaspoons for the coffee station. Communication with the staff was a little challenging. Most of our requests were met with a rejection. For instance, we asked for 2 paper cups to takeaway with our breakfast box (as we were going to Mt Batur Sunrise and wanted to make ourselves a drink there).. but we were told they would not give us any paper cups. Next morning while picking up the breakfast box, we asked the receptionist on duty again for paper cups but was also met with a rejection. (Here's the twist was when I found paper cups at the lobby water dispenser next to the reception desk and took a couple with me). We also asked if we could order coffee for that same morning and we were willing to pay for it (breakfast coffee is reasonable I feel), but the answer was No, we don't serve coffee. I am not sure if it was a language barrier, or the team is not empowered.. but there is a lack in resourcefulness and flexibility. For a Marriott Group, a Westin Hotel, even if it isn't the Upscale or Luxury tier, I think it can really be better.

The property was beautiful and well-maintained. Well worth the money, a very reasonable rate, I got what I paid for and more. The floating breakfast was delicious and enjoyable, the staff was very nice. I have no complaints about my experience.
