Gary's excellent knowledge and advice about what to visit and when, given our preferences. This helped us hugely in making the best use of the limited time we had in the Lake District.
The breakfasts were awesome and set you up for the day - fresh fruit as well as a huge English breakfast.
Could do with a clearer view when coming out of the car park. The road wasn't that busy. Not sure there is anything much that can be done for this.

Lovely stay. Location is handy for town and local walks, private parking very helpful. But the hosts Gary and Sue are the real highlight - a lovely couple, so friendly, and were full of great tips for walks. Fab breakfasts too. Thank you
Room and bathroom quite small, but it didn’t bother us (just worth bearing in mind if you plan on bringing lots of luggage!)
