Stayed here many times. Beautiful old hotel with lots of character. Yes there’s sign of wear in some of the bedrooms, but they are very clean & bed is very comfortable. Breakfast is very good & staff lovely. But where this hotel scores is its location, 5 minute walk into centre of Keswick, has its own car parking which is rare, & beautiful grounds to escape the crowds in town. We continually come back here!

The bed was clean and comfortable and the location was ideal. Also having parking is always a plus.
We felt we didn’t get the room we had booked, it was extremely dated and a lot of the furniture is in need of a refurb.
