Perfect location , spacious rooms and superb staff!
The room was a little chilly and there was no option to put on the heating

Very convenient for the town centre, shops, restaurants. Quiet at night. Large room and en suite. Helpful staff.
Small, difficult car park. Bed rather soft. Would have preferred a walk-in shower. Breakfast room has very low chairs for height of tables.

Some parts of interior here and there might be a bit outdated (although take price per night into account and it is well worth it), the way Dan (and the rest of the team of course) runs this place makes it a whole different level of hospitality. I even had to ask the guy whether he is employee or owns the place, because he cares so much about everyone's comfort and does a dozen of jobs at the same time. This makes your stay here worth much more.

The location was central to town and useful for restaurants etc
Felt a bit antiquated, the rooms obviously didn’t have aircon being a Victorian building but the fan was useful in the room. Not great in a heatwave/ quite stifling.
