Elm tree lodge was beautiful, the room and facilities were spot on and the cleanliness was exceptional, the breakfast was delicious with locally sourced ingredients and Tim the host was warm, welcoming and very attentive. The property was 5 mins walk to the town centre which was ideal. I would recommend the guest house to anyone, it was a great 2 night stay.

Jim was very helpful friendly, i loved how clean our room bathroom was, beds were comfortable lovely warm too. Thank you for making our weekend great. Just a little walk into town, we had great food too.

Tim was a great host, very welcoming & friendly. Cooked an amazing breakfast too. No faults at all!
If I had to nitpick I’d probably say that we could see some strands of spider webs on the ceiling but that didn’t affect our stay at all, just a personal preference that if they had been cleared, our stay would have been perfect.

The breakfast was scrumptious , Tim was sociable and helpful
The room was attractive , clean comfortable , in fact the house was interesting in itself .
Tim moved his car so that we could park .
All in all a very pleasant stay .
