The views from this location is grand. I love how clean and well kept the landscape is. The only thing you have to keep in mind is the drive up it is very bumpy make sure you have a suv or a truck. I had a flat tire going up 😟 luckly the manager helped me change the tire. One more thing if you dont mind bugs and mosquitos i would recommend it.
It was nice seen spider monkey right outside the room. This location will forever ingraved into my mind for many reasons. Overall for the price this location was worth it and I would definitely stay here again.

The food at the Phoenix restaurant was outstanding. I also enjoyed conversing with the waiter/cook. The views were great and there were loads of wild birds. The location was close to some wonderful destinations such as the butterfly conservatory and Lake Arenal. Wildlife were around, which is thrilling. The room was well maintained and was cool with a fan and mountain air, despite no air conditioning.
The road was absolutely horrible and risks breaking an axle. The staff was not present during the stated working hours, so we couldn't organize the activities we wanted. He was late and left 2 hours early every day we were there. The German guests were very rude and since there were no staff to enforce the rules, they just continued to be very disrespectful with obnoxious music and smoking weed on the property.
