it was an experience to learn

Is Located in a residential neighborhood, which is gated with 24 hrs Security they are very friendly 🤝

Something Really strange I didn’t know they don’t use disposable coffee cups they use regular cup. so if they not clean you have to wash it yourself. Also, bathroom is so small there’s no place to put your soap, shampoo etc the place is quiet to begin with, but I 9 PM sharp you feel like you are in a cemetery the place is completely dead. Even the light goes off in certain area. not too much Activities in the area the beach is not worth it Unless those things won’t bother you it’s a good place to stay Honestly, I do it again

it was relaxing and comfortable.

The staff were welcoming and the rooms were well organised.

The property is located within a gated community, which was fine once you got used to it.

I really loved the little community that comes with staying here. at first we were skeptical walking in the door but after 20 mins everyone staying here had us join in on the fun and conversations!

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The guests make it like a family atmosphere.

Plumbing facilities are out of date. This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Coqui del Mar. And, it was the third time that we had plumbing issues with poor draining in shower pan, poor draining in toilets and overflowing water into the bedroom for our last two consecutive days.

Fun time at a unique place.

Staff was extremely helpful, from the owners to the maintenance and kitchen crew. Great atmosphere for singles or couples. Always someone around to hang out with.

420 friendly....5 mins walk from beach. Hospitality was great... everyone Very nice!

I had a ant problem in my room... suitcase was full of ants...very upset bout this situation. Jacuzzi & pool was clean enough to really enjoy.

Staff was great, really felt the pride in their property.I felt like they appreciated my business and cared for my satisfaction Outstanding cleanliness.

The size of my room was definitely on the smaller side but actually everything you need was included.

As a traveler I felt free to explore myself and all Puerto Rico has to offer.

The Mimosa brunch was phenomenal, the access to beach chairs and boogie boards and bikes, in combination with the 2 pools, jacuzzi, outdoor shower, and overall vibe put this hotel over the top, not to mention proximity to the beach!

Maybe more sanitation on chairs and common areas, COVID in mind.

A very homely experience, with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. My room was spacious with a kitchen and large bathroom. The location is near a nice beach ⛱

First time in Puerto Rico and want be my last see you next time

I was free to come an go as I pleased. I felt comfortable being who I was and safe to show me as I wanted its a safe place the owners are very friendly and the owner V will get you connected to the right people and places you will enjoy your trip

Somehow we always missed conversation time an hang time with the host lol. Kinda hard getting a uber at times. Love our lil apartment home away from home but the last night I guess was filter pool and the pool system was right next to our bed window so it was a lil hard to sleep that night lol

Unforgettable experience

Our stay in Coqui del Mar was an unforgettable one. It was the best decision we made to celebrate our 3rd anniversary. We wanted to disconnect and escape from the routine. The place is perfect to relax and have a unique experience. Rob and Vianney were excellent hosts and it was an honor to share with them during our stay. The brunch was exquisite and the mimosas refreshing. Coquito and Tahoe are the pets of the place and they are charming. They are playful, harmless and you can feel their love through their innocent eyes. We will definitely go back. Thank you Coqui del Mar for making us feel at home. Hugs and kisses. Chris and Wil

Best gay friendly resort

Friendly staff, great rooms and grounds, wonderful amenities. Would recommend to anyone looking for a gay friendly hotel in San Juan. They also offer great tours and events with a gay twist.

The host have so much knowledge about Puerto Rico & all the happenings that any question you have they could help you with. Also conveniently located near everything. Most things were no longer than a 20 min drive away max.

Overall pleased with the experience. We would go back for sure.

Breakfast could have offered more. Yogurt, toast, cereal, and oatmeal was not enticing.

Pools could have been cleaner. Posted quiet hours were also not observed. Rooms were not cleaned everyday, but understandable with COVID.

Gays know how to host

Owners are super nice and vested in their guests and guest house! Luis was also a super big help and very easy on the eyes. Playful ‘miracle’ dog was a bone-us.

cozy condo close to the ocean

Coqui del Mar is a great property with wonderful amenities...jacuzzi, swimming pools, sun bathing areas and access to free bikes. The spacious Tropical Cabana suite worked well for me as a solo guest. I enjoyed my stay.
