Staff was great at the reception desk, middle aged black male manager very accommodating.
I called many times and went to voicemail on the night of my arrival. Also as I told the manager no one answered
My messages that were sent through
booking.com for the hotel. Some were days before my stay. When I arrived front desk reception was in the restaurant area and said I will be with you shortly.
Probably 8:30 pm. I ended up renting a car ...on booking said airport shuttle... but since no one answered the front desk phone on multiple tries I had to rent car. Showed up to find out $20 something to park in lot. Gps put me down the street at 711. I entered there to ask clerk where the Maritime was... I was tired from international flight and then... when I enter 711 the black clerk is on the phone with police telling them a white guy is outside and said he was going to kill everyone in the store. I look to the outside front doors and the devil himself is looking in. I think oh my god this is not how My evening was supposed to go. Thank god two police trucks arrives within minutes and my evening could continue uneventful. Then I got caught between floors in the elevator. But it worked again after five minutes.
