About this condo rental
Nestled in Avon, this attractive condo for $132 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. "Mariner's Terrace" - Includes Membership to seasonal Kinnakeet Pool and year-round tennis just 2 miles away. 1 mile from Avon Pier. Walk 5 minutes to beach. 1 BR condo. Arrival Check In time is 4:00 p.m. (often earlier) Departure Check Out time is 9:00 a.m. Kinnakeet Shores Pool and Tennis less than 2 miles south is included with the rental. (Mid May through end of September) Can be used before and after check-in. Queen bed with pillow-top mattress in bedroom. There is also a pull-out twin sofa in the den and a queen inflatable mattress. HEPA covers on all pillows and mattresses. 1 bathroom. Note entrance to bathroom is through bedroom. New flooring throughout. No carpeting = cleaner environment. Keurig and traditional coffee makers. Outdoor gas grill and indoor Ninja Grill/Airfryer $5 self-pay watercraft launch ramp on site. Note: The boat dock itself is private property and not for condo use. Howevrr, you can rent or bring Kayaks and launch just outside from the ramp. Plenty of shops available for all equipment rentals. 2 Adirondack chairs and 2 bar height adirondack chairs on private deck overlooking the Pamlico Sound for perfect western sunset view. Bath towels and sheets are supplied. Bring your own beach towels. Hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent are provided. Bring your own shampoo, soap / shower gel, trash bags, etc. A starter roll of paper towels, a pack of toilet paper, and 2 trash bags are provided to get you started upon arrival. Outside private shower available to rinse off (unless turned off in cold months.) Covered parking underneath unit available on a first-come basis. Otherwise, outdoor parking. You can walk across HWY 12 to the beach. It is only 3 blocks away. You can walk to restaurants, bar, and ice cream shop. Avon has a Food Lion, Dollar Tree, Wings, and Ace Hardware just 2 miles away. And plenty of other beach shops and restaurants are also available. High-Speed WIFI and Cable/Roku TVs in family room and bedroom. Trip Insurance is highly recommended for Hatteras Island. No Pets allowed except service animals. Electric car charging station at Avon Pier 1.1 miles away.

My 80 year old mother stayed here for a week over the holidays and loved this place. It's a terrific location on the water behind the Froggy Dog. She loved watching the pelicans and reading on the deck -- and the sunsets were phenomenal! She said the bed was extremely comfortable and she appreciated the extra blankets and pillows. She figured out how to use the TV without any trouble. It had everything she needed for a relaxing and pleasant stay, and everything worked well. The check-in and checkout process was simple and the communication with Mike was terrific -- he's available if needed and clearly cares about the experience of his guests. Made everything so easy. Highly recommended!!!

While we have been going to Avon for many years, we had not noticed the condos not far off the road and right on the sound. It was a beautiful spot, and the condo was lovely. It was clean, well equipped and comfortable. And, communication with the host was prompt and clear.

Beautiful condo nice and clean everything worked. The kitchen is fully supplied everything you need to cook with drink and eat. Check in was easy. No hassles! This was a mini honey moon and first time Avon. Beautiful beaches and not crowded. We went fishing on the Sound. Went by Frank and Fran's and we were recommended mile marker 52 to fish. Beautiful secluded cove.

My husband and I had an amazing time last week in Avon, North Carolina. Mariner’s Terrace was a perfect spot. It was just big enough for the 2 of us and the kitchen had everything we needed to make meals there. The outside balcony was a great place to relax and just chill. Mike was readily available for all questions and got back to us quickly with any concerns. The only thing we would do next time is definitely have a wagon for the beach! It is only a short walk, but carrying all of our stuff got a little cumbersome through the dunes. We had never been down into North Carolina that far before. But, the beach was so quiet and peaceful and absolutely beautiful! We definitely will be returning!

Mariner's Terrace is a welcoming condo in a perfect setting. The condo is spotlessly clean, with everything needed: fresh, fluffy towels; well-equipped kitchen; plenty of hot water and good water pressure; comfy furniture; comfy bed; quiet, effective air conditioning; easy parking. The view of the sound from the living room and deck/balcony is SPECTACULAR! It's so beautiful looking out over the sound in the early mornings, in the quiet afternoons, for the gorgeous sunsets, that we were often happy to do little else all day! However, there is lots to do very nearby. The ocean is a fairly quick walk down quiet streets. The beach is not crowded and is very wide—easy to sit close to the water or farther back or take walks. There are a number of restaurants, a coffee shop, and a great ice-cream shop right nearby. The condo complex and immediate surrounding area are very laid back and quiet. Mike is an excellent, clearly very caring and experienced host—he's super-quick with friendly, clear communication, and he knows how to make a guest's stay easy and relaxing. Mariner's Terrace will bring you peace. I would go back in a minute!

We just finished our week stay and it was one of the cleanest rentals ive ever stayed in,in the past 32 years. Owner is very friendly and is excellent on communication. Easy access to beach and boat launch made it easy for me to put my kayaks in. Would definitely stay here again.

One word summary - PERFECT! Exceedingly clean and well appointed! Mike is a fantastic host! So easy to work with! He went above and beyond with helping us with our booking. Outstanding communication! He answered questions quickly and checked with us during our stay to see if we needed anything or had any suggestions for improvements. We had everything we needed and more. Love the decor throughout. The view is awesome! Beautiful sunsets over the water! Enjoyed watching the birds even in the rain as the covered deck kept us dry. Wouldn't change anything about our stay except to stay longer next time.

We really enjoyed our stay in Avon. The apartment was perfect - clean, nice size for two, close proximity to water, stores and restaurants. Highly recommend. Great owner who regularly checked in via text to make sure we had everything we needed.

This was our second time staying in a place at the Pamlico Condominiums and love this neighborhood. The condo was great for 3 people - very well stocked and we didn’t need for anything. The porch was perfect too as we had a day of rain and could still sit outside and stay dry. Some of the best sunsets on Hatteras. Would definitely return.

We love OBX and have stayed here twice. It's perfect for couples but also fits a small family. The view is wonderful. The bed is comfy. We will be back. Oh and Mike is a great host! Very nice and responsive to questions. Thanks for a great stay!

Nice property. Mike was a helpful host. Had everything you need. Super location with great view. Parking was adequate sometimes tricky but host made us aware. Would stay again. This place was great. Quiet part of the OBX, but still able to walk to anything you need, beach, restaurants, coffee, supplies. Mike provided everything needed with recommendations and a water view deck to boot. I hope to visit again soon!
