A pleasant and modern hotel with good breakfast facilities and well located in the old town.
Sadly there was a lot of early street noise that affected our sleep and the bed was also too hard for us. Staff not especially friendly either.

Karoline the receptionist was very helpful and welcoming. Our room was in the newer guest wing a 1 minute walk around the corner from the main hotel. We had also reserved a car parking space which was in a secure garage adjacent to the guest wing.
Our room was very well appointed and had been beautifully decorated. Everything was exceptionally clean. Very, very good shower.
Breakfast was served in a traditional German pension style room in the older hotel building. It was all very nice and breakfast was very good. It was the continental type buffet breakfast.
The hotel is situated in the middle of the older picturesque part of Gengenbach with a variety of restaurants and shops.
We were very pleased with the standard of the hotel and the staff were very, very nice.
We liked everything. It was very hot when we visited and we had a fan in our room as well as a full length opening French door opening on to a private, secure courtyard scene. There wasn't any air conditioning in our room but this did not affect us. Only mentioning this here so that others are aware that the hotel does at least provide a fan and a well ventilated room with the opportunity to open a large window.

Great location in the centre of the old town. Very friendly and easy going with a very relaxed vibe. Felt very refreshed staying there.

Location was great. Staff very kind.
Disgusting carpet. Stains everywhere that we didn’t want to take our shoes off. Also a stain on the couch was gross. Beds very hard. Also think that they could at least provide shampoo vs an all in one body, hand, hair wash.
