About this house rental
Located in Surfside Beach, this lovely house for $747 per night is a great choice for your next break. Welcome to Paradise! Our beach house is a professionally styled five bedroom/three bathroom home located in Surfside Beach, South Carolina. Designed to accommodate up to 16 people, it’s only steps away from the sandy beaches of the Atlantic Ocean. Come spend some quality time with your family in our private beach house, away from the crowds! Our newly remodeled house is tailored to mirror the quaintness of Surfside Beach while providing everything one needs to relax and rejuvenate in the comforts of our home. We hope you find time to lounge around the pool that can bed heated or cooled, swim a few laps, fire up the grill and drink a cup of coffee while listening to the crashing waves. The pool heat is an additional $50 a day. Please note that pool will not be heated from November - February as the heater cannot keep up with the cold weather. Paradise features a fully equipped kitchen and propane gas grill for the chefs in the family; an enclosed outside shower to wash off after a full day at the beach; six large flat-screen Smart TV's, high-speed internet and cable to entertain the masses, and two balconies overlooking Ocean Boulevard with a view of the ocean. Downstairs: Kitchen – Fully equipped kitchen, stainless steel appliances Dining Room – Seats up to 10 Living Room – Large flat-screen Smart TV, sofa seats up to 7 Guest Room – Queen bed, large flat-screen Smart TV Guest Room – Two Full beds, large flat-screen Smart TV Downstairs Full Bathroom Upstairs: Master Bedroom – King Size bed, private restroom, balcony access, Clothes Iron & Ironing Board and large flat-screen Smart TV Master Bathroom - Jacuzi tub/shower, double vanity, makeup mirror and hair dryer Guest Room – Queen bed, full sleeper sofa, and large flat-screen Smart TV Guest Room – Two twin bunk beds (sleeps four total), large flat-screen Smart TV Jack and Jill Restroom (connected to both guests rooms) - Double vanity and tub/shower Laundry Room - Full Size washer and dryer Come experience what Surfside Beach has to offer! It’s conveniently located near the attractions, shopping and entertainment of Myrtle Beach, but furnishes the atmosphere of a charming neighborhood. Brookgreen Gardens is a short drive away and Marshwalk in Murrels Inlet is worth the relaxing walk. Other things to note: No RV/Camper or trailer parking with out prior approval. ABSOLUTELY no electrical, water or sewer connections of any kind. Enough parking for 5 medium size cars only. Guests cannot park on grass or on the sidewalk. This home features security cameras at pool and under the house. NO PETS ALLOWED!! Although homes are often equipped with some non-perishable food items, such as sugar, coffee, and spices, we cannot guarantee they will be there. Guests are supplied with a starter set of paper products. Each rental will have 1 roll of toilet tissue per bathroom and 1 paper towel roll in the kitchen. Please come prepared with your own soaps or other needed toiletries such as dish detergent or laundry detergent. Please bring any blankets or towels you plan on using outside (pool or beach). Guests should bring their own toiletries, we supply a starter set of toiletries. Per the linen package that is already included, we will provide 1 set of towels per guest and sheets for each bed. Most properties have a washer/dryer or a coin operated facility. Please bring any blankets or towels you plan on using outside (pool or beach).

Location is awesome-steps from the beach. Great size pool and kitchen well equipped.
Management- Information wasn’t consistent in emails, welcome letter or on refrigerator. Consistency would be nice so tenants have clear expectations. Kim told us we would receive text when unit was ready. No text. We were in the area since 2:30. It was after 4 so we went to the office (they say open till 5). Doors were locked. Keys in lockbox.
Saturday arrival we found:
A toilet that wouldn't flush and had a bowel movement in it so a flush was needed. You have to make your own beds and a fitted sheet was stained. When emptying our coolers into the refrigerator we found crumbs and spilled liquid, etc.,not clean. The pool was filled with sand.
We called management and got "after hours" line. We were told that none of those issues were "emergencies" so the earliest those would be taken care of would be Monday. After traveling all day we had to clean, wash and fix.
We fixed the toilet so it was usable. The rest we cleaned and washed. The pool was cleaned on Monday.
We have stayed in many areas.If there were issues upon arrival, they were always taken care of immediately.
Other issues on arrival: Bathroom rugs dirty, black smudges on white shower curtain, dirty grill and no tools to clean it, front porch table filthy, floors filthy -made your feet/socks black, food still on crock pot. Is it too much to expect a clean property upon arrival or at least a timely fix to issues found?

House is conveniently located to 2 entrances to the beach making it an easy trek with kids! Also enjoyed the convenience of having a pool with the house. Checking in/out process is a bit antiquated. Communication with property management is delayed over the weekend, but they will respond/reach out the upcoming business day. Overall a pleasant stay and would consider booking again!

Me and 10 friends rented this house for a long weekend. It was everything we were looking for. The house was very clean, there were plenty of bathrooms, and the beds were comfortable. The only thing that was inconvenient was the fact there was no lockbox on the house and the key had to be picked up at the rental office. We flew into Myrtle Beach and did not rent a car:Otherwise a great home and a perfect location!

The house appeared just as listed. The location was perfect just a short walk across the street to the beach with a nice pool with plenty of seating for our group of 9. A few restaurants and beach bars within walking distance or a short drive away. We loved it. We would highly recommend.

Not recommended - Not Clean - Mold - Lack of communication
Not ready when communicated. Had to wait approx 90 mins to get into the house past the time they said it would be ready. Mold in the washing machine, mold on several of the dishes, and just very dirty overall. Stayed in many vacation houses over the years and this one by far takes the most unclean award. The management company Southern Coast Vacations, was not available when they said they would be, not in the office and took several days to follow up when you call or email concerns/questions. Poor communication and just a negative experience overall on this one. NOT recommended.

Could be cleaner, but a great week
Floors were sandy, our 3 year old found pills under a bed, one pillow had blood stains, but otherwise a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Location was perfect, pool was excellent, outdoor shower came in handy.

Great house and location
This house was as great as advertised. We had a 3 generations of family and friends together for a week. House worked great for all of us. Pool was fantastic. Beach is just across the street - close enough to walk barefoot! House was clean and well stocked. I had a few questions prior to check in and management company was responsive. All around great experience.

It was a pleasure staying at "Paradise". The owner went over and above in providing EVERYTHING you could want to enjoy an amazing stay at this beautiful, spacious, and immaculate home. The location was perfect with a gorgeous beach just across the street and a short walk to restaurants. The large heated salt water pool was awesome and the comfortable porch was wonderful to enjoy as we started and ended our days. The host (Kim) was excellent. Our family enjoyed an amazing vacation and we definitely would love to return again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

This house is one row of the beach with beach access a few houses down on each side of the house. The house was big enough for us to be comfortable with a large group. The pool was perfect for those days that the waves were too rough. Only suggestion would be to bring your own knives. They only had serrated knives. Also the outdoor shower does not have enough privacy if you take off your suit to get the sand out the neighbors will get an eyeful! Overall we loved the place.

Our contribution to this fantastic place. Quiet and safe area yet close enough for activities and shopping. We had a great time and we will be back to Surfside for sure. This property called Paradise was perfect for my extended family and me (6 adults and 4 young children). The house was the right size, had plenty of rooms and sleeping spaces, and was in good and clean condition. The beach access point was right across the street, and the heated saltwater pool was great! Although we came prepared with things like cleaning supplies, etc. the house actually had a lot there, which was nice. The people at the company who manages the property (jasmine, Monica, and Patrick) were friendly, helpful, and prompt to reply. They went out of their way to make sure everything was satisfactory. Overall it was an excellent place to stay, and I would do it again! Fantastic experience!
