The apartment was very comfortable and warm. And I loved the bed, it was a dream to sleep in.
Lovely fluffy towels in the bathroom and very clean throughout.
The views from the front of the owners house were spectacular and we really appreciated the dog walking field.
It is in a beautiful part of the Dales with plenty of walks and lovely pubs and cafes within driving distance. We enjoyed the Black Bull in Nateby and The Kings Head in Ravenstonedale. If you go into Kirkby Stephen and have a dog, do visit the White Hare they are super dog friendly and good value food.
We had a great time here and would recommend it for short breaks.
The internet kept dropping off for me but not my husband. I think Vodaphone and EE will have more stable coverage than my provider ID in this area, so please be aware if this is important to you.
There wasnt any space for dry food goods in the kitchen and little cutlery and crockery available. This is because of the space. There is plenty of storage for food in the fridge and freezer. It is a very functional holiday kitchen. We simply adapted our meals to what seemed practical.
Elysian fields is great value and a good base for exploring the area. We hope you will enjoy it. We did.
