The staff were friendly, helpful accommodating. The location was excellent; close walking distance to the hippodrome, Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque etc, restaurants and cafes, and public transport.
The room was good value for money, clean and adequate.
A slight criticism is that housekeeping was inconsistent. Usually we made our beds but the one day we didn’t it wasn’t made for us. No spare roll of toilet paper and clean cups not provided to replace dirty ones. The room was clean and this is just feedback. It didn’t change our high opinion of our stay.

Friendly staff, good buffet breakfast - excellent location for all the 'must see' sites. If visiting Istanbul again I would come back to this hotel.

The stay at the hotel was amazing! The hotel is conveniently located and very quiet, you can't even hear the minaret! Breakfast every morning is just like home, plus sweets. Guests have a comfortable new elevator (a rarity in the historical part of Istanbul).
Our room 401 was on the top floor (it was super!), with a sea view - the room rises above the neighboring rooftops, BUT during our stay (January) it was very windy, and on the top floor it was especially noticeable: there was a slight draft from the windows, and the headboards of the beds are near the windows - strong blackout curtains did not completely protect heads from the draft from the windows.
