Chiado 8 is located at 12, Travessa Joao de Deus, 3rd floor (no lift) in the desirable Chiado quarter, a trendy, vivid fashionable part of town. Although in the middle of everything flat is located in a small side street quiet at night. Chiado 8 is a deluxe apartment. A duplex unit, renovated in 2015, extremely spacious, well equipped (A/C in all rooms), refined, comfortable and bright. Location, layout, superb decoration and equipment put this apartment on top of the existing offer in Lisbon. Flat occupies two floors and can accommodate up to 6 people with full comfort. On the lower floor you will find the social area, with a huge living room and dinning area, a second TV and reading room, a well equipped kitchen and a guest bathroom (no shower). On the upper floor you will find the private area. First bedroom is a generous suite, with a king size bed, reading and resting area and private full bathroom. The other two bedrooms have nice areas, all with large closets and refined decor. Entire apartment is a strictly non smoking unit. Chiado 8 is designed for guests who want to stay in the heart of town in a luxury environment.

This amazing apartment did not disappoint in any way. There was lots of space (family with two teens) for us all, well furnished, well equipped, and comfy beds. Mario was very helpful before our arrival, during and after. The location is excellent with lots of places to eat nearby and is easy to reach by metro from the airport. Highly recommend

The apartment was clean, well equipped and very spacious. Its central location on a small side street meant it was super quiet and easy to walk to most attractions.
The kitchen had everything we needed to make eating in easy. Bathrooms were a little dated but very clean and functional. We found the beds to be extremely comfortable and all the bedrooms had lots of storage and plenty of clothes hangers. There is no elevator but we had no issues with the stairs however if you have young children, mobility issues, or exceptionally heavy luggage, you may find the stairs a challenge.
Mario was an exceptional host! We had problems with hot water in the main bathroom and Mario had it resolved immediately. Very responsive and helpful.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this apartment.

Coordinating with the office was super easy and flexible.
It’s a big place with sleeping capabilities in each room. Seems great for a large group of friends who just want a place to crash. The beds were not very comfy.
The walk up stairs (4 stories) was tough with a toddler and the stairs within the apartment weren’t safe for her either. The bathrooms had a musty smell and the hot water sporadically worked. This stuff wouldn’t have mattered if we were out and about all day/night but with naps and bedtime, I spent a lot of time in the apartment and was hoping for something more comfortable/luxurious.
Location was great though. Overall, it would be a great place for a different group, just tough with a baby.

Great app with 3 rooms and 2,5 bathrooms, a kitchen, 2 living rooms. Some parts are a bit old but still OK. Only there was sometimes an unpleasant smell in the bathrooms.
Location was also perfect to visit Lisboa.
Communication was great and Mario, the housekeeper was a very nice and helpfull person. Could't be better.

The appartement was next to all major streets giving us access to tons or places to visit by foot. 6 of us where staying for 3 nights, two couples with our 16year old daughters. The only complaint about the place are the beds and shower in the master bedroom. Very hard beds and water does not stay at intended temperature. Overall our stay was perfect as the city is so nice. Make sure to pac light as the place is on the 3rd floor. But rest assured Lisbon is super hilly and your in for a workout either way. The owner or managers office is right next to the place if you need anything . Ac in all rooms make this place very confortable as the weather was around 34-36 .. enjoy you’re stay

This was a very spacious 3 bedroom apt. It had all the amenities of home. Location was amazing! Mario was great deal with. Definitely recommend!

First time in Portugal with the family. Loved the appatment. Specious, stylish, clean. We had everything we needed. Mario was very quick to respond, very helpful answering all my question before and during our stay. The appartment is very quiet. Location is great! Right in the middle of tourist activities and the restaurants. Fine view on St Jorge castle.Overall pleasant experience of the appartment and area around.

My title sums it up. We had an amazing trip to Lisbon (first time for all of us). The flat is spacious, clean and comfortable. Walkable to all the main sights and surrounded by great restaurants. Mario was an incredibly gracious and attentive host who always answered our questions in a timely manner and even arranged a car service for us.

Can’t say enough good things about this stay! Excellent accommodations for four adults as we visited Lisbon. Mario greeted us upon arrival and gave us a walk-through. Well equipped and clean. GREAT location. Walking distance to all neighborhoods in the old town and close to the metro. Handy food markets and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

Our family of 5 stayed at Mario’s property for 3 days. We were in a central location to so many of Lisbon’s wonderful sights, restaurants and parks. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. Mario was an excellent host and very accommodating when we arrived earlier than expected due to a weather issue. Thank you Nario and team.

Location is perfect for restaurants, bars, shopping. Apartment is spacious and very clean. Four adults stayed, but it could have accommodated more. Coffee, laundry, and everything you need is supplied. A great place to stay.

As pictured lovely three bedroom 2.5 bath apartment a short 5 minute downhill walk to the Rossio train station and Avenue Libertade in the heart of Lisbon. The kitchen, sitting room, half bath, and living room are on the first floor of the apartment while the three bedrooms and two baths are on the second floor. The apartment is up three flights of stairs so that should be considered if physical limitations are a consideration. It does provide a great introduction to the climbing required getting around Lisbon on foot. We loved the 6 nights we stayed there and enjoyed interacting with Mario who has a very welcoming demeaner and was a grand host. Allowed us a very early entry after a morning arrival at the Lisbon airport which was very much appreciated. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay here and would not hesitate to stay there again when visiting Lisbon. Really you are very close to everything and nothing seems to be more that 10-15 minute walk from the sights in Central Lisbon. We were 2 families with 1 18yr old and a 13yr old - they had a separate living room so could watch whatever they wanted on the telly!

Enjoyed our stay and the location. We wanted to stay in this location of Lisbon as it was central to our needs. Roomy and good for family situation. Our contact was Mario, he was responsive to our needs, we did have trouble with the master bedroom shower getting hot water for some reason. Mario came quickly to fix but for some reason it was only the master bedroom. Highly recommend and would stay again.

We had plenty of space for the family to spread out in the flat. The air conditioning kept us very comfortable during the hottest days of the summer. It was an easy and pleasant walk to almost all of the historical neighborhoods of Lisbon (Chiado, Baixa, Bairro Alto, Alfama - and Castelo de Sao Jorge) and a quick Uber to Belem. We absolutely felt safe and secure in the flat. We highly recommend!

The apartment was spectacular and the location was ideal for our exploration of Lisbon. Even more importantly, the property manager, Mario, was fantastic at communicating with us before and during our stay, and he was incredibly responsive to requests. I give Mario and this apartment the highest recommendation.

Mario’s place was true to pictures and descriptions plus it had extra perks like a washing machine for laundry and full size kitchen, air conditioning and smart TV. Beautiful living room with large dining table. Master bedroom is comfortable large and roomy with a large bathroom and tv. All bedrooms are upstairs. Note that that unit is a 3 floor walk up so not good for those who have physical limitations. No elevator. Mario the owner was always very responsive and he was there to greet us and show us around when we arrived. Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing place
This place is exactly as pictured, clean and very good communication with the owner. All extra items are available..TP, soap, hair dryer etc. Beds are comfortable. You won't be disappointed with anything in this place.

Chiado is the spot
Mario was very easy to work with and the apartment is in a fantastic neighborhood--TONS of bars and great restaurants abound! But somehow the apartment was super quiet at night, maybe because we were able to keep windows shut and take advantage of the AC in bedrooms. Chiado is also convenient to other popular neighborhoods in Lisbon and we didn't need to pay more than 4 euros to get everywhere we wanted via Uber.

Perfect for our Lisbon stay
We were very pleased with the flat - amazing location to explore Lisbon. Apartment was well equipped. Only minor downsides were the master bathroom shower was too small for anyone over 5 ft tall and the walk-up stairs, which is only a hassle when you arrive/depart and exhausted after a day out. Minor annoyances for a lovely place.
