We've stayed before and find the location and accommodations to be excellent. Previously, we'd stayed on the 2nd floor. This time, it was the St. Johns suite, a large room on the 3rd floor. Great bathroom - huge shower and separate tub. Great seating area.
I hadn't realized there was a 3rd floor, but would've requested for a lower floor if I'd known, as my husband had heart surgery a few months ago. Next time, I'll be sure to request a lower floor. But we managed.
The only thing we REALLY didn't like were the pillows. They were very thick, so for us side-sleepers, our heads were kinked up and we couldn't get comfortable and didn't sleep well. I don't recall that having been an issue previously, but if we stay again, we'll be bringing our own pillows. Many hotels often have a selection of pillows, especially on a king bed. That would be a nice change.

I stay at the Evermore while in Portland whenever possible. It is always lovely, comfortable, inviting, well-stocked, and wonderfully clean. Great communication from staff. I appreciate having access to a utensil-and cookware-stocked kitchen, the continental breakfast, the common areas, and the walkability. Beautiful neighborhood. The old-fashioned claw-foot tubs are the icing on the cake.

This is an incredibly beautiful old building. Such a pleasure to be able to stay here. Communication from the property manager was excellent and self check in went very smoothly. We especially loved the room furnishings and our little balcony.

Lovely Craftsman home in a residential area.
Never received the text with remote entry info so getting in was problematic. Make our own breakfast and do your own dishes was unexpected.
