Perfect 👌

Le KEX Hotel a offert une expérience exceptionnelle lors de mon séjour. Le design unique, l'ambiance chaleureuse, et le personnel amical ont vraiment fait toute la différence. Les chambres étaient confortables et bien aménagées, et la localisation était idéale pour explorer la ville. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel pour un séjour inoubliable !

Sentiment d'insécurité dans le centre-ville de Portland. La présence de nombreux sans-abris et de personnes au comportement étrange...

Chill Vibe

Most comfortable, soft beds, comforters, quiet space, chill...Best place for R&R. Super spacious and chill morning coffee space.

Sleep under another loud walker. This is an old building with beautiful wood floors. I'd ask for the top floor next time.

Lugar super confortável e estiloso.

O Hostel é muito confortável, jogo de cama, toalhas, sabonete, shampoo, tudo de excelente de qualidade. A equipe também é muito simpática e prestativa. A decoração é incrível.

Só senti falta de uma cozinha compartilhada, não necessariamente tão completa quanto outros hostels, mas algum lugar para refeições rápidas.

Great value for price. Friendly, convenient place to stay.

The staff couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and the bathrooms and shared sitting areas were nicer than expected.

Very modern and welcoming. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable and was a great value.

Step it up

The bed was spacious and comfortable. Good location. Attempt at good style

It just seemed like and old "new old" hotel. Amenities were lacking, room temp was cold and the HVAC didn't respond well because there was another forceful draft coming in through under the front door. There were direct vents into the neighbor's room which allowed for a clear understanding of their words if over a whisper. The bar was either understaffed or unhappy. Service took way too long and we couldn't get their attention once we had a seat. One could easily walk off without paying in that situation. The fries were good, the aioli was not good. It was ok but I won't stay here again.

Friendly Personnel and Cozy Stay Near Downtown PDX

Super close to the Oregon Convention Center and redline that comes from the Airport. Personnel were super friendly and downstairs is a local favorite at night. During the day, the sun shines inside the big windows and it’s a great place to write.

Not sure if it’s driver friendly, since I think only street parking is available. I’d love the menu at Pacific Standard to have extended vegan options, otherwise everything else was great.

Perfect place if you have a convention center event to go to.

The place is really clean and tidy, even with a bunk bed room there's space outside the room where to sit and have a good time. The beds are comfortable and could sleep really well even with the people coming into the room. I was afraid at first that the bathroom was going to be occupied all the time but I didn't have any problems and the privacy of it was perfect for a good shower.

Maybe the only downside is that the bunk bedrooms have barely space for 2 people standing outside the beds.

Great for a solo traveler

Cool space and vibe. Had a great cocktail at the bar as well

I stayed in the dorm style room and people were a little loud at times, but no complaints regarding the hotel or facilities

Great and convinient option

Lovely place, clean and stylish. It's an old building but redecorated within all details in a modern way using noble materials, it doesn't feel old at all. The Sauna is a fantastic extra service, I love it. The bar is a great space to hang out or to have modern drinks and tap beers. The location is great, near to restaurants, minimarket, the convention center and a bus stop that take you to other good places of the city.

Heavy snoring guy in my room. The KEX provided ear plugs but were not enough.

Great vibes.

The location was great. Within walking distance from multiple breweries and restaurants.

There aren’t any bathrooms or showers in the rooms. There are multiple private bathrooms with showers though, we never had to wait to use the bathroom or take a shower.

Super clean and classy for the price, adding a communal kitchen would be nice

Very classy for the price. Clean, safe, friendly vibe. WILLOW was exceptional. Give her a raise.

Even though temperature remotes are in each hostel room, they blow pretty cold, and strong, even if the temp is brought up to 72 or more. Chilly. 2nd: Add a communal kitchen. LOLO place has one.

Very convenient for an overnight passing through and not needing to be downtown (and even there, very easy access to dow

great design, throughout. clean. comfy (though rooms are very small, so take that into account). friendly staff. great walk in the river.

Thought shared bathroom meant with only one other room, but more like a hostel. to be fair, not once did we have a problem getting to use a bathroom( the floor was not full), so really, this is not a complaint, just a reminder to be sure you are fine not having your own bathroom.

i really enjoyed my stay there, everyone was very friendly, the beds were comfy & drinks at the bar were great!

the exterior is really nice, staff very friendly and great bar opened till midnight!

no parking, sometimes i would have to drive a couple times to find a spot

KEX is cool place to stay that is convenient to the convention center.

Stylish hotel. I liked that the lobby lounge was chill and relax during the day, like the city's living room. A good place to sit and wait out a rain shower while doing a little work.

The pedestal sink was cool and old, but way too short and I am only average height and the basin itself badly needed reglazing and looked gross. There was no minifridge in the room, which was an inconvenience. There were six pillows on the bed but they were all too limp and flat. One good pillow is better than six flattened feather pillows.

I loved the space, the ambient, the style. Overall the vibe is great and the property is beautiful. Very good drinks as well.

I stayed a couple of nights in the female bunk room for 4 people. One bad thing about it is that the room was so tiny for 4 people, it felt uncomfortable. My suitcase took more than a half of the space in the floor. also, my roommates would bring food and eat in the room (fried food) which made my experience not that pleasant. Some roommates arrived really late as well. The hostel should make rules clear about respecting other guests! I sound like a Karen, but I swear I don’t usually leave comments :/

Exceptional

Such a cute hostel. Super clean and spacious, and beds are really comfy and private. Amazing location. Awesome bar downstairs with great vibe, friendly staff, a killer local sour on tap and a giant serving of fries that is magically cooked before you even settle into your seat. Highly recommend.
