Bunks have blankets folded at the foot of each bed. Extra 100% cotton blankets for chiller nights, and down pillows encased in a hypoallergenic pillow protectors for each of the beds. Mattress are brand new for 2021 and encased in sealed mattress protectors with a brand new each visit mattress pad. No one in this industry is changing the mattress pad to a fresh clean one on each bed weekly, but we do!! Bath and Beach ,Towels wash clothes , kitchen towels and dish cloths as well. Great location, went with my wife and two young kids. House is well-stocked, had everything we needed from coffee maker to beach toys and chairs. Paul and Christine were very responsive and the whole process was very smooth.

Valuable information from the owner prior to our arrival, nice location, good value, modern appliances, big dinning room table our party of eight could all sit at, enjoyed the boogie boards and beach toys, plenty of beach chairs, liked riding the bikes around the area, sunrise and sunset viewing from the top deck. Sunrise is better on the beach. Good time being a beach bum. No sand in my car.

Our group of 7 (6 adults - 1 teen) were pleased with our stay at Forget Me Knot. The house was clean. They supplied plenty of toiletries, towels, laundry supplies and etc. The kitchen had everything we needed for making meals. The walk to the beach was easy (despite the extreme heat warnings). We had fun riding the bikes. We brought our own beach tent and wagon, but it was nice having the chairs provided. We didn't have a chance to use the other water equipment as we had hoped. Just a couple of small things to note about the property: The water pressure is very light. The outside shower was the best! The back side of the house is next to the main highway. It was very busy and traffic noise was loud from 6am - 11pm daily. If you are a light sleeper, I suggest choosing the bedroom that faces the ocean side of the house. I am not sure if this is a seasonable issue or a year round issue. When speaking to locals, they said the island is always busy. The beach was crowded, too. We weren't expecting that as the countless other beaches we have visited in mid-August have already past their peak attendance as children head back to school. Every day, it was a search to find an empty spot to put our beach tent. If you are seeking a quieter beach vacation, this may not be the destination for you. (Obviously, not the homeowners fault...just wanted to give others an FYI.) Overall, we had a nice stay. The house served our needs and the owners were kind.

Absolutely amazing time at Forget Me Knot. The home was adorable and clean and everything we could have wanted was provided. The only things that worked against is that yard had the occasional thistle that we discovered the hard way in a dog's paw, our devices kept disconnecting to the wifi, and the walk to the beach was a little to far for our aunt. We ended up renting a golf cart for her. But we would stay here again in a second! Paul and Christine were extremely prompt in replying to our texts and super helpful! We had a blast!

The house was great. It was a very nice set up for our older kids and a few of their friends. The kitchen was very well stocked which was great because we like to cook and have family meals. It had just about everything needed for preparing large family meals. The location was also great! Thank you for sharing your home.

What a fantastic weekend with our family. The house was just as described. Beautiful and extremely clean. Wonderful views of sunrise and sunsets. Close to Corolla town which is a quaint little town with great places to eat and shopping. We did the Wild Horse Tour which was awesome.
The owners were awesome to work with and answered any questions we had in a quick manner. We would definitely stay here again! If you are about comfy, clean and beautiful… this place is for you!

Great location - a pleasant walk to the beach, to shops and restaurants, mini golf, go-karts, boat rentals and more. A very fun community with lots to do. The house was very clean and well-kept. Beautiful views from the decks. The kitchen was very well stocked as were the bathrooms with all the necessary supplies. The beach toys provided are also a big plus. The house was cozy and comfortable and we had a very nice stay. Owners are responsive and very helpful. I'd definitely return and recommend to friends and family.

The house is stocked with everything— kitchen gear, appliances and all the beach toys. Very comfortable and great balconies to chill out on. The house is a bit farther from the beach due to the closer access point being under construction. However there is available parking at the beach, bikes and a cart at the house to use. We really enjoyed our time. Hosts are super responsive and lovely to deal with

This home was lovely. We had all the things we needed and literally like it says just pack your clothes and go. Location was lovely and the top deck had the most breathtaking views. The kitchen was really nice and we loved the ninja coffee maker and the whole kitchen (kitchen was loaded with everything you could possibly need). If you require a tv to sleep make sure to bring your roku or Apple TV. The tvs in the bedrooms didn’t have any way of watching unless you bring your own streaming device which was such an easy fix because we just bought Rokus. Beach was walking distance about 4 or 5 blocks but if you have a large party it’s a 1 minute drive to park. Very happy with my stay. Thank you so much!!!

One of the owners was very difficult to deal with and the other owner "checked in" regularly, rather than letting the adult guests stay at the house without being babysat. It felt very intrusive. One of the guests touched the basketball hoop, which was very old, and it fell off. In addition, a picture was accidentally knocked off the wall but no damage was caused to the picture. Insurance coverage of $1500 had been purchased, but the the owners filed an insurance claim in the amount of $2800 which is ludicrous. Seems to be fraudulent and we will follow up with the insurance company about the actual value of the items that the owners claimed needed to be replaced with new items.

We had a sibling/cousin reunion with four adults and six kids, ages 9-13 staying in this charming cottage. The sleeping arrangements were very comfortable on the cool and dry bottom floor, and the living area upstairs was had a great, fully stocked kitchen and comfy couches. They were very generous with toiletries, paper products, etc. but the best part was all the beach gear. There are 4 bikes, lots of beach toys, a beach shade, chairs, boogie boards, etc. We DEFINITELY over-packed, they already had everything we needed. Thanks to the Beaumont family for a lovely stay!

Great option for family!
This was a great option near the beach! Comfortable stay for a range of ages we had in our party. The only hiccup was that the beach access point closest to the house was under construction, so it was a bit of a longer walk to get to the beach. Not a huge deal, but something to consider if you’ve got anyone in your group with mobility issues.

Enjoyed the decks & the kitchen
Really liked that the kitchen came stocked with good cooking equipment. Everyone took turns cooking...we never ate out the whole week!
The decks and crows nest were great. We were there over July 4, so we watched 2 or 3 fireworks shows (some quite distant, one up close) from the crows nest.
My daughter in law and the teens loved using the natural light of the various decks to paint and do art projects.
The stairs to the shortest path to the beach were being rebuilt while we were there, so we mostly went half a block north to Bonito. Discovered you could even drive there. Beach was never crowded.
Only problem we had during the stay is that the electronic locks sometimes malfunctioned, but the property owner was very responsive and helpful.
As we left on the last day, my family was singing the praises of "Forget Me Knot."

Awesome place to spend time with the family from ages 88 and under. We had a wonderful time lovely stroll to the beach and beautiful sunrise and sunset viewing.

Common area is a little small but we were there for a family vacay and wanted to be together anyway. Paul and Christine were responsive and answered all of our pre-departure questions. We had a wonderful time. The owners were very kind and answered any questions we had. The house was perfect for a family of five and our dog.. The location was perfect-short boardwalk walk to the beach. The town of Corolla was a short drive. The house was extremely clean and well kept. The house was stocked with outdoor beach activities. The multiple decks were great for relaxing and views of the ocean and sunrise/sunset.

Forget Me Knot was a great homebase for our outer banks vacation. The house was clean, comfortable , and very well stocked. Easy walk to beach, about 5 min and chairs, beachtowels, transport wagon, boards of all sorts, toys….. are all provided. The owners were easy to communicate with and responsive to questions. We have MANY great sunrise and sunset photos from the crows nest!

Wonderful Stay!
Our family really loved staying at this beautifully decorated home! The beach was only a few blocks away and completely manageable for my 2 year old. The house has a lot there that can be used! We were excited to see that there was a pack n play, a high chair, and a ton of sand toys for my daughter to play with. Bedrooms are small but very comfortable. The kitchen was beautiful and had everything you would need to cook or bake! We loved our stay and we hope to stay here in the future!
