Great stay

It’s cozy, clean and close to the metro station.

The only negative thing was the noise from the cafe outside.

We’ll definitely come back!

We loved the interiors, it’s very French, which was great as whenever we travel, we always look for hotels which reflect the personality of the city and La Mondaine was perfect! The location was quite accessible as well as it was just a short walk to the metro station.

Ha tehetjük, legközelebb is itt szállunk meg.

A menyasszonyommal együtt utaztunk, és nagyon tetszett mindkettőnknek. Teljes mértékben megfelelt az elvárásainknak, hangulatos, egyben nosztalgikus élményt nyújtott. A személyzet nagyon kedves és segítőkész volt.

Great food good wine and a very nice hotel.

The property was amazing. The staff was very cheerful and helpful. The design and details of the design for the rooms were great. The location was walking distance to a lot of great restaurants and close to public transportation.

I don't have anything negative to say about the property.

Fantastic stay for a short trip to Pairs.

The property is in a great location close to several metro stations with lots close by. We loved the rooms! Exactly as advertised.

Two busy bars right outside the hotel which were noisy. Paid for a supreme room which was at the front of the hotel so noisier than the doubles at the back.

Location

The decoration, dark & stuffy room , the AC is not functioning well , the worst thing was the shower curtains ( class is more convenient & hygienic) , the key size ( big & better give it to reception before going out), no safe box, no trash in the room ( only in bath room)

Outdated, overpriced, old bed with bed bugs which bited me all over my body, no tv, no water, no aircon, dirty carpet I was even scared to step on it, old and smelly bed spread

Great location

Location was perfect, staff was helpful and the room was clean, the hotel is with an elevator.

The shower handle needs fixing. Quite expensive but probably all hotels in Paris are especially in the summer!

Exceptional

We loved everything. Attentive staff, beautiful decor, sound proofed windows, hot shower, comfortable bed and a lift! We wouldn’t change a thing. Would definitely recommend and go back again.

comfortable and interesting hotel

Beautiful, good location, comfortable bed and felt very safe. Excellent staff, the Asian male receptionist/manager (I didn’t catch his name) was very welcoming and kind to us.

Elevator is very small but I understand this is typical for Paris.

a very cute play to stay

Design of the rooms are unique and very exciting. the staff was really nice and always helpful! You can find many restaurants around the area and it’s really nice to walk around the 9th.

Towels were old and broken. Some of the lightbulbs were broken.

Amazing and outstanding experience.

The location is perfect, near subway, many restaurants and coffee sops. The breakfast was really complete and tasty. The hotel staff were very kind.

A perfectly unique and authentically Parisian stay.

Traditional French breakfast was incredible. Rooms are unique in their decor and staff is most welcoming.

Disappointing

The location was okay

They staff was not welcoming us in a friendly way. They kept on asking about a creditcard, but we don't have (and don't want one). We paid the room in advance. Then they wanted our pasport, a bankcard and a hundred euro's deposit. Nobody told us this in advance. We didn't like the atmosphere in the hotel neither.

Bad

For two days I searched for a hotel with private parking, as I am in Paris by limousine. On Booking.com the hotel was recommended with that filter and proposed as the one which has parking. When I came to the hotel the night I received the information that there is no parking, just a public space on the different streets in a risky space. I wanted to cancel the reservation because I was misinformed and misled. I left the hotel as we agreed with the gentleman from the reception. He told me that he knows that it is wrong, misleading information about the hotel on Booking.com and I should contact the manager of the hotel the next day. What is more, I was not satisfied with the hotel. The reception desk and the gentleman there were telling me all the time that I should contact the manager of the hotel. He admitted that there is wrong information on the Booking about several things about the hotel. He was not polite. I didn't stay at your hotel. I'm in Paris very often and I never had a situation like this. I went to another hotel that had the same description on the booking as this and they had the parking. I had to search for another hotel in the middle of the night, before very important meetings in the morning. I just wanted to have my fund back, as obviously, the condition on the hotel side was not fulfilled and the atmosphere was unpleasant, the front desk was not helpful and polite. Even though I expressed that the “hospitality” was zero and I didn't stay at the hotel, the hotel is not interested to give my funds back or even politely responding.

Mondaine je t’aime!

Funky hotel, felt like being back in the roaring ‘20s! Compared to others hotels who play this concept, here the feeling was authentic and not a marketing/design gag! We got an amazing room on the top floor, beautiful view on Paris!

Nice quirky hotel but over priced for the condition.

Property was quirky and loved the history and the style, it was like a film set. Perfect for photoshoot.

Rooms look good in photos but not in reality. Room was small, dark and smelly, there't not enough storage space for clothes especially for couples. £230 per night for that condition was way overpriced.

Great decoration and atmosphere in the hotel. Good location and very polite staff.

Photo's look better then the actual physical rooms.

We like the location not far from some really nice restaurants and shops. The room clean especially the bathroom. Good Wi-Fi.

No Tea or coffee facilities which was a pain having to go down to get drinks, as we like to relax in bed. Room could really do with a tidy up IE repaint and décor. No TV

That at first I paid extra for a room with a bath but I did not get one bits sorted this out on the second day
