Great location, staff were all super nice and helpful, characterful and cosy.
Wasn't as clean as we would have liked and getting a bit tired. But given the location and other good points, was good value for price we paid.

Love the locality ..very convenient
They forgot to leave milk in room for teas coffees and there was no hairdryer in room I could see. After doing a 25 km walk just needed to rest. The reception phone number wasn't in room and they didn't answer anyway. Had the smallest coffee for breakfast . They should have asked if it was to liking- personally hate fried bread!...but staff rushing doing other things...obviously short staffed ...would rather spend hard earned cash and stay in hotel.

Good breakfast but some toast would have been nice.
Room was ok. Bed comfy. Nice bar with good beers. Quaint cosy dining room.
Pillows were inadequate. Noisy toilet cistern. Shower head not stable.. Stairs to the top floor steep and no assistance offered by staff for heavy case. Chairs in dining room not comfortable.

Location on old town area by steps
Staff absolutely not interested that I had mobility issue this was questioned at booking regarding lowest floor to accessible issues too high to walk. they said 3 flights to climb! Friend was in a mobility scooter!! The room bit tired and very dirty in my eyes compared to older inns stayed in. Drink tray had debris in it, tables dirty, plugs used extension leads hanging down, the toilet was disgusting in that the fixings were rusted and look awful plus the bath had stains in it not very pleasant. The bed valance was stained. The man who booked us in not bothered no names, so miserable and unhelpful not interested about concerns and was quite flippant ln his reply about my concerns . Will absolutely never recommend staying over. The only person nice was the waiter who served us breakfast he was pleasant anc attentive.
