All the Norwegian delicasies I was looking forward to were available.

The hotel was extremely busy on the Saturday evening we arrived with a number of functions taking place and taking precedence in the dining room. Dinner was a scrum, service was slow and there was no choice of menu. Suspect that this only occurs on a Saturday, and that this particular weekend may not have been typical.

Very accommodating and welcoming staff. Very busy as they are having a wedding and its a Saturday. Our friends would rather to have a smaller meal and they allow them to share. Wonder ground and setting.

The building fabric is very basic, not sure is it the norm for Norway country hotel. The hotel is very much extended which meant quite a bit of walking around with stairs. Not ideal when you have heavy luggage.
