This Kiawah Island vacation rental offers 4 bedrooms, a private plunge pool, and is a 5-minute walk to the beach. The kitchen has granite counters, stainless steel appliances, custom cabinetry, a butcher block island/breakfast bar with seating for two, and everything you will need to prepare meals during your stay. The dining area has a table with seating for six and has access to the screened porch. The main living area has vaulted, trussed ceilings, leather chairs, large sofa, and large windows overlooking the pool. The first-floor master suite offers a king-sized bed and a luxurious private master bathroom with garden tub, separate shower, His and Her vanities, and a door leading to the screened-in porch. The second level of the home has an upstairs den with a TV, a cozy chair and ottoman, and a sleeper sofa. Three additional bedrooms are off of the upstairs den. A queen bedroom has a wall-mounted TV and a private bathroom with a shower. Another bedroom has one twin over full bunk bed, a wall-mounted TV, and a private bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The third upstairs bedroom has a queen bed, wall-mounted TV, and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower. On the main level, French doors open to the furnished deck and screened porch that offers a table with seating for four. The plunge pool is approximately 10 ft x 12 ft and is 4 ft deep. The home is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet. Guests do not have access to the garage. This pool has an electric heater, so the pool may be heated in cooler months for $75/per day for the entire stay. It can take 24-48 hours for the pool water to reach the optimal temperature of 85-87 degrees. When the air temperature falls below 55 degrees, typically November-March, pool heaters have difficulty achieving the optimal temperature. In this case, pool heating will not be available. The dimensions of the pool are 10' W x 12' L. Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $300. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and more – the choice is yours! During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park. Kiawah Island is about 40 minutes from historic Charleston, famous for incredible shopping, galleries, antique stores, museums, the South Carolina Aquarium, horse-drawn carriage rides, historic landmarks, and sumptuous dining. RESERVATION PROCESS: Your reservation is not confirmed until you return the Akers Ellis Rental Agreement. This document will be sent to you via email within a few hours of making your reservation. You need to review and electronically fill out, sign, and submit the agreement within 24 hours. Once returned, Akers Ellis will collect payment and send you a reservation confirmation via email. We had a wonderful week in this spacious and comfortable home. Each bedroom has a private bathroom which is a big plus. The property manager was very accessible and provided prompt responses to the 2 minor maintenance issues we had in the house. I am only giving 3 stars on cleanliness because the back desk/pool area was not in top shape - the grill is old and dirty and in need of some repairs (the igniter knob is missing). The deck appeared to not have been swept. The large trash and recycling barrels outside were filthy and the trash was overflowing when we arrived. The interior of the house was spotlessly clean, kitchen very well stocked, plenty of linens. We had a nice stay~!

We had a GREAT TIME on Kiawah! We rented bikes/beach chairs/Corn hole w the credit and it was so fun. Some golfed, others hit the beach or rode bikes. The house is beautiful but could use a new couch,BBQ and some widows w screens so you could get some airflow. However we would stay here again in a heartbeat! Great separation of spaces for adult downtime and a quiet home. We had many fun game nights on the screened porch! Freshfields is close by for groceries and shopping and a dinner out. Charleston was a pleasant 45 min drive away. Great home/location!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house worked out great for my daughter and her family, Husband, 3 year old son, and in laws. Kitchen was well equipped with cookware and serving dishes.A heated pool would have been nice but the location made up for it.

We had a good time with family. All relaxed and distressed from their active jobs and studies, especially the health care professional. + Property was good location. + Quiet location. + Private back yard. + Kitchen was well applianced. + large beds were comfortable. + linens and towels were plentiful. - Exterior needs cleaning. - Burned out lights need replacement, inside and outside. This should have been seen by the property inspection. - Pool cleaning service needs to clean out skimmer, as this is part of pool maintenance. - Pool filter does not filter properly, as particulate can be seen in the water, filter probably needs backwash or renew filter sand. - bunk room beds seem to be unsteady as when someone moves at night the other beds move, waking the other people.

We chose this location to meet our daughter with her family for a week stay on the beach. The grandkids loved the beach as did we. Our daughter and her hubby are into bicycling. They biked to dinner and home each time we ate out. It was too dark for us but they enjoyed. Our only disappointments were the cold spell of weather we had and the pool which looked inviting but can not be heated. All in all it was just what we wanted

We had a wonderful time. We explored the island, Charleston and relaxed on the beach. We ate at three James Beard restaurants, loved the island market area and the paths. The house was just right. No one felt cramped but it was homey for sure. We want to be there when just a bit warmer so we could use the screened porch.
