Superb and thorough pre-trip instructions made our arrival a breeze. Beautiful kitchen well-stocked for all our cooking needs. Great gas grill put to good use. Spacious home with tons of activities for the kids in our group ages 3-13. Outdoor pool. Treehouse, Hammock and Fire pit and Game room all put to good use. Multiple dining areas inside and out. Gorgeous mater bedroom/bath. Incredible vistas of the Green Mountains! We loved this house and the helpful, friendly owners!

This is a beautiful location and the layout of the house lends itself perfectly for extended family get togethers. The view is 100% green mountains with no structures in sight and a clear line of sight to camel’s hump. The hostess clearly communicated and very responsive to any questions.

Sybille was a wonderful host, very communicative and genuinely eager to make sure we had a marvelous stay at Villa Ausblick. The house is AMAZING and provided everything we needed and more! I especially loved the children's playroom as it kept the grandbabies entertained and happy. We could not get enough of the fantastic views and the general splendor of the property. The amount of love and care the Kim's have put into this place shows in every detail. I highly recommend this spacious, comfortable, welcoming property for your stay. We definitely hope to return one day, perhaps during another season. I cannot thank you enough!

When we booked our vacation in early Spring 2021, we didn't know how much things would have opened up by June, so we wanted a house that had everything, in case we couldn't go anywhere. This house exceeded all of our expectations! And a few days before our trip, Vermont lifted a lot of its restrictions, so we had the best of all worlds -- a wonderful house for relaxation, and excellent restaurants, hikes, and other activities within easy driving distance!We loved having the pool on the property with the stunning views of the mountain. The pool is not heated, but we found it warmed up enough on its own on sunny days. We made use of the fire pit to roast marshmallows on one of the cooler evenings, and enjoyed how well-stocked everything was, right down to the extendable marshmallow roasting sticks! By far our favorite part of the outdoor property was the pond -- every morning we would come outside and say hi to the frogs and the waterlilies. It was such a peaceful spot!Our girls are in their early teens, and the appreciated having their own space and enjoyed the amenities. If we had come when they were little, they would have been blown away by the playroom, sandpit, and tree house! The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked, with even a large electric griddle, perfect for pancakes and french toast. There were some staples there, such as spices, flour, sugar, and oil, that made it easy to cook. We ate out for dinner -- we especially enjoyed The Reservoir, Prohibition Pig, KC's Bagels, IdleThyme, and Hen of the Wood for spectacular farm-to-table cuisine. Local activities worth checking out include kayaking and canoeing on Waterbury Reservoir -- it was so easy to walk up, rent equipment, and go! We took a gondola up Mount Mansfield in Stowe. Pricey, but worth it. We took a drive into New Hampshire and on our way back hiked down to the river in Quechee Gorge. And of course, we had to stop at the Ben & Jerry's Headquarters!Our host, Sibylle, was incredibly gracious, instantly available, and a great source of information about where to go and what to do. She also put us in touch with Maggie, a local concierge, who was delightful and easy to work with. She asked for a grocery list so the kitchen was stocked with our favorites when we arrived, she helped us research activities, and she set up a dinner at the house with a private chef for our anniversary.Our trip to Villa Ausblick was spectacular! Highly recommend. We can't wait to go back!
