Antiguo Molino de San Jerónimo

Excellent boutique hotel set in an old grain mill. Marcela and Gilbert were amazing as well as the door men and the restaurant staff!

Due to the traffic in Mexico City, it took a little longer for Ubers to find the hotel as it was on a one way street. Also the hotel operates with a door man policy versus key cards and the main door is by the big tree on the far right. If you didn't know this, it might be confusing to enter upon first arrival.

Everything about this hotel was outstanding. The hotel itself is simply stunning - the details in every room show the history and preservation of the historic Old Mill. Vintage historic charm meets modern amenities. It feels like staying with family but in a 5 star hotel. The hotel has everything to help you relax - a small cozy fountain with chairs, spa services, a beautiful rooftop terrace, cozy library with backgammon and books, and lots of sitting room all over. The in house gourmet restaurant provides morning breakfast to fuel your daily explorations while the spa services can be booked in the privacy of your suite. The staff is incredible - Marceila and Edgar were exemplary hosts who answered any and all questions, gave us a tour of the space, and plenty of local recommendations. If you need transportation, tours, or anything like that booked, oyu can do so through the hotel. The 24/7 security team was incredibly prompt and kind - letting us in and out whenever (and whatever time) we needed. The house keeping was impeccable - I never once saw them but would come home to a spotless suite, with slippers laid out and the curtains drawn. The restaurant staff crafted incredible breakfasts with attentive and friendly service. The attention to detail at this hotel made us feel like royalty - slippers laid out every night, chocolates on the bed, the small souvenir, snacks, and filtered water upon welcome was a lovely after our flight. There was a fully stocked kitchen with Nespresso pods, milk, and cream. The fridge contained water, sodas, etc for purchase but also space to store your own items. The location is also excellent - walking distance to everything in El Centro and only a few minutes walk to the Metro to go to all the best spots on CDMX. We felt extremely safe and relaxed in the middle of CDMX. I cannot recommend Antiguo Molino de San Jerónimo enough and when I come back to Mexico City, I will stay here again.
